I get them too often for my liking, too. I have never had to resort to bcps, thank goodness. After af showed up, mine went away. One time it did take 2 cycles to go away on its own. Has it shrunk at all?  If not, they may need to aspirate. Ugh.

i just found out yesterday so i am not sure if it will go away. So yours went away alone. because i had a pelvic exam on 1/6 and they saw nothing so i don't know what to do. Should i take the pills. Thanks a ton tina

Estrogen definitely helps. It's just a matter of each person and how they respond. My natural estrogen in the follicular phase was enough to do it. Sometimes (most times) they respond to natural estrogen. Other times, they don't. If they don't and they continue to grow, or if they get found by the time they are way big, bcps or aspiration is the only way. I'd ask the dr if you can wait to see if it dissolves on its own. If they say no, ask if you can take them for a couple of weeks and get another u/s to see if is shrinking or gone. If is gone, you can stop the bcps. Three mos sounds like a really long time. I would think a month at most should get it on the run. But, hey, I'm not a dr. I just know what worked for me. And we all know what works for some, doesn't work for all.
