Ovarian Cysts and Birth Contol pills? Open to ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello to everyone;
    
       This morning i had a doctor appointment and they found out that i have an ovarian cysts(follicular cysts) about 2-3 inches and it doens't look its gonna rupture but now after ttc for a year and 2 mc 1d&c now i am placed on bith control pills for 3 months. I really wanted to scream like god why me and whta's going on i was just in thedoctors about a month ago how come noone saw this big fluid filled sac; why is this happening. So i am on a high dose of birth control pills to stop ovulation and allows the cysts to stop growing and go away. My question to everyone is can i get pregnant while having this cyst and has it happened before; do i have to on the pills for three months. What will happened after the pills? I am as scared as ever right now, i know people have had cysts and gone to have children but what if. Thanks to everyone and hope all is well And SSBD to you all.

Hello! well i'm in a similiar boat as you!!   after our chem preg this past cycle, and finding out what is "hopefully!!" causing all of our miscarriages, i was so excited to go in for my baseline ultrasound and get everything started, but instead i have three cysts.. for the first time ever i had to go on the pill to hault my cycles : (        they are to stop ovulation and prevent more cysts... and HOPEFULLY the other cysts will disolve in the process.. as far as cysts affecting fertiltiy, if they are just simple fluid filled cysts (which are most common in people having gone through fertility treatments.meds and sounds like thats what yours are) then they have no affect on fertility at all.. unless the ovary torses and causes injury to that ovary.. however thats really really rare, and the reason that they put you on the pill and don't continue with meds when there are good size cysts there, to reduce the risk of torsion.. but otherwise definteyl won't affect your fertilty : )      i'm only on the pill for one month.. then we'll see what is giong on with the cysts.. if they are still there they might want me to go another month on the pill.. however if they do, i might go a natural cycle, since my body tends to make the cysts go away on their own, and i'm not sure what its going to do on the pilll.. UGH so frustrating for sure!!! KEEP me updated! : )
