Ovulation and Pregnancy

by blueyesgirl, Nov 01, 2009 03:43PM
Okay. About a month ago I skipped my period. I had been trying to get pregnant for about 5 months so I took a few tests and they were all negative. My cycle is usually about 38 days so I waited a while too. Finally got a blood test and it was negative. Went to the doctor, no problems, just high prolactin and Progesterone levels, but still not pregnant. So she put me on provera to start my cycle and had me start charting my BBT. I also took ovulation tests and finally got a positive one on day 28. As my doctor predicted, I was ovulating way later than I though I was.

Anyway, so my last period after that was really light. (I used like one tampon a day). I was also really dark, and more brown than red. I though that was weird and let it go. However, I've started taking ovulation tests again and got a positive one on day 14 which is way unusual. It stayed positive for the next 3 days. Also, I've had more vaginal discharge than usual and read that this could be a pregnancy sign, as well as positive ovulation tests. But I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. My appetite goes up and down. I'm starving all the time, then no appetite. Everything sounds good, then I want to vomit at the smell of everything.

Does anyone have any advice about any of this? Know anything about any of these things?

Hi there,
You certainly sound like you have some pregnancy symtpoms.  I would go and get a blood test from your doctor. They are more accurate.
