Ovulation sticks or Fertility Monitor?

by MelOhio, Feb 06, 2007 12:00AM
Hi Ladies:  Wondering if anyone could throw out their opinions on ovulation pee sticks (7 pack) vs the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor with 30 pee tests.  Someone recently mentioned to me that maybe the monitor might be a better option.  I checked the price and about choked!  $200 !  But I guess when I compare the money spent in the last months on pee sticks, I could have probably saved some money by just purchasing the monitor!  Anyone have good reviews about the fertility monitor or would you just keep on using the sticks alone? Thanks for the information, this site is wonderful!!

I swear by the clear blue easy fetility monitor- it is a big expense- but I have irregular cycles and was spending a fortune for 6 months on the Clear Blue predictor kits. I have gotten pregnant 2 times from using the monitor - both ended in miscarriage- looks like i may be pregnat again this month and i used the monitor while taking 100mg clomid and it still worked! love this machine. It measures estrogen levles and HCG levles- you can't miss ovulation with this machine- it is so specific. The helpline is awesome if you have any ?? the customer service people are great and it is really easy to use.
