Ovulation while on Clomid

by Tori1964, Mar 31, 2008 07:15AM
Hi there-

If anyone has a good answer/experience to share with me I would appreciate it.

I started taking clomid this past month. My original ovulation was late, as I hear can be normal with Clomid.

I started feeling VERY hormonal again last night and wondered if I as getting my period...but felt more like ovulation.

I used another test stick this morning and the two lines show that this is a second ovulation this month.

Has anyone had this experience before, especially with Clomid?

Well, how late was the first one and how long after was the second positive test? you mean ovulation tests right? i only ovulated once while on clomid, have you tried bbt charting? it is a great help though sort of a pain. it showed me exactly what my cycles were doing. i had a positive for 3 straight days while taking clomid though.
i have also heard, do not know if it is true or not, that ovulation tests can be used like a pregnancy test....

Hi there-

Thanks for the questions. The second positive ovulation test was 13 days after the first one...and it showed a strong line...and this was on Clomid. I checked my cervical mucus that day and it was like silk...then I checked it again 1-2 days later and it was sticky and tough. I now still have sticky-creamy mucus and no signs of a period.

I have never heard of two ovulation cycles on one month unless they are a few days apart for fraternal twins.

I am guessing all this is because of the clomid, but I have no idea for sure.

Thoughts???
