I have pCOS and was on clomid 50mg from day 2to7.day 12 my dr did u/s and told that egg is only 10mm.Is it this 10mm on day 12th day of periods(6th day after completing clomid cycle) is enough to become pregnant or i want to know whether this egg follicle will grow after 12th day and ready to ovulate.now i am on the 18 th day and i am confused whether this time it will work to become pregnant. But my gynae told me that this time clomid does not work on the twelth day and he increased the clomid dose to 100 mg for next month and now i am taking utrogestran to start my periods again.pls advise

I started with a lower dose of clomid and worked up to 150 for seven days before I was able to produce "good sized"  follicles. I also take metformin.  My re likes them at about 20mm.  I have heard from another post they grow 1-2mm per day.  I hope the increased dose goes well for you. I don't know anything about taking clomid at day 12.  Good luck!
