I have had three different labs done over the past week. My results are listed below:
July 16, 08 - HCG = 179, Progesterone = 65.95
July 18, 08 - HCG = 437, Progesterone = 81.36
July 21, 08 - HCG = 3,042, Progesterone = 47.53
I am freaking out. Why is my progesterone level decreasing. I have had 2 miscarriages. The firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc was due to low progesterone. The second started out with awesome levels (progesterone was only checked one time) and then out of no where I lost is. The nurse from my doc's office called me today to tell me the results. She said that because my HCG was so good they can go ahead and schedule my 1st ultrasound (Tues, July 29th). I said, "Well, how was my progesterone?" When she told me I just about passed out. I asked if I should be concerned that it is decreasing. She said, well it is within the normalNormal saline flush limits. I explained that progesterone has been a problem for me in the past and that I wanted to find out from my dr if this is a concern or not. She is supposed to ask him and then get back with me. Do you think this is normalNormal saline flush? Your progesterone is supposed to increase not decrease. I am so scared. I am at work and I am totally freaking out. Nobody knows I am pregnant so if they walk in my office right now and see my faceFace pain they are going to be asking what is wrong. And at this point I don't want to tell them. Please tell me what you think. Be honest, don't try to make it nice and fuzzy......
Depending on how you take your progesterone supplement it may not show up in your blood test. Talk to your dr about taking more progesterone if you are worried.
Congrats on your bfp!
