I have been on Clomid since February 3rd ( day 4-8 of cycle). I had a positive ovulation test on day 17 and took my progesterone blood test on day 21. My progesterone was 58. In January my level's were 1.6. So, the doctor told me I could be pregnant, so I took a blood test on day 24, and it was negative. I'm supposed to start my period on Saturday (in 3 days). What I think is, I ovulated late ( not in day 13, 14, and 15 of cycle) so, my progesterone levels were still high, when I took the blood test, because it was only 5 days past. Even if I the embryoCea and sperm did meet, it would be way to early to show, correctCorrect (new formula)?
Has this ever happen to anyone and ended up having a positive pr test a couple weeks later?
58 is a very good progesterone level. However, there is no indication of pregnancy in any progesterone result. If you ovulated on CD17 and took a test on CD24 (7dpo), that would be way too early to get pregnancy results. Typically, womenWomen's way will start testing at around 12dpo.
Personally, I wait until I am officially late and then start testing because I don't like the added stress of the testing!
