Progesterone levels dropping

by ErinLou, Sep 18, 2009 05:54PM
My doctor called to let me know I am most likely having an abnormal pregnancy and might have another miscarriage.  I had my IUI procedure 08/28 I had my first hCG/Progesterone levels checked day14, day 17, and day19 after the IUI. My results are as follows:
day 14 hCG 27 Prog. 43.3
day 17 hCG 56 Prog. 38
day 19 hcg 90 Prog. 30
What do you think? Do you agree with the doctor?

Hmmmmmmm, I don't know.  Your HCG IS getting "close" to doubling every 2-3 days, so I think you should just keep getting your levels checked every few days to see.  Now your progesterone CAN fluctuate, but it is going down.  Are you on supplements?  If not, I would insist on getting them ASAP.  If this is not a viable pregnancy, it won't stop a mc. but if it is viable, then it can only help.
I wish you lots of luck ;)  Keep us posted!
