Prometrium after late AF

ok I have 3 refills left for prometrium and was wondering if it's ok to take after AF is late? I took it last time starting CD 14 for 10 days.....so I'm wondering if I can take it to start AF after I'm already late since I didn't take it starting CD 14.....don't worry I called my RE to see what she said and they haven't returned my call so I'm not just taking advice off of here but wondered if anyone else has done this?
