Question for Doctor - is TSH Affecting Fertility?

by Fluffytweetiepie, Feb 10, 2008 06:30AM
Dear Dr

I am having fertility treatment having had 3 failed IVF cycles and 2 m/cs.  I am wondering whether my Thyroid test results are normal?  My TSH shows to be below the normal range.  Could this be contributing to my fertility problems?  Also I have a racing heart a lot of the time - any ideas?  Do you know what the most optimum levels are for fertility?

TSH 0.19 uIU/ml  (0.35-4.94)
T4    16.5 uIU/ml  (9.0-19.0)
T3     4.80 pmol/l (3.25 - 6.21)

Thank you
