Serious cramping in the 2ww period

by franchesca3, Mar 10, 2009 09:41PM
Dear all, I am on my first ivf cycle and had one 5 day blastacyst transferred on last wednesday March 4th. I have had serious PMS-type cramping until last Sunday and nothing on Sunday and Monday. Just this evening, after going to bed, I was woken up by serious cramping as if my period is going to arrive any second. I am on progestrone cream Crinone and have been on it for over a week. Has anyone experienced this and still gotten positive results? Also, when is the first reasonable time I can do a HPT? My blood test is scheduled for this Friday the 13th. Thank you for your thoughtful answers.

I had lots of cramping about 4 days after my 3 day transfer and it pretty much continued for several weeks.  I thought it was AF but it wasn't and I'm now 15 weeks.  Cramping can be a symptom of implantation.  You're still definitely in this.  I was alway told that  the trigger is in your system for 10 days so you might be able to hpt.

Good luck to you.
