I just wanted to let all of you anxious womenWomen's way out there know that it is possible to have a successful pregnancy straight after miscarriage. I miscarried the middle of January this year and am now 9 wks 5 days pregnant. I didn't have a period inbetween and to just to make sure everything was going ok my doctor referred me for an early pregnancy scan last week. Everything is fine and we saw the heart beating. I've had 2 miscarriages now, one before getting pregnant with my son (who's now 18 months) and the more recent one.
If you are in the same boat I wish you all the luck in the world. I want this message to give those of you out there who are worried about further miscarriages hope that it won't necessarily happen again x
I miscarried on July 9, 2008. I was only about 5 weeks pregnant when it happened, so I had only known I was pregnant for a short period of time. Then on August 4 I found out I was pregnant again! I am now at 37 weeks and am soo looking forward to labor and delivery. My whole pregnancy has been a very healthy one and my baby is perfect. There are so many people I know who have suffered from miscarriages for various reasons, and they have went on to have perfectly healthy babies with no problems at all. Sometimes strange things just happen that are beyond our control, but I have no doubt everything will work out great in the end for you. Just relax and let nature take its course. Also, if you haven't already, start taking prenatal vitamins. That might be just what your body needs to jump start a healthy, viable pregnancy. Best of luck! :)
