Symptoms Clomid - Please advise

I took clomid for 5 days (100 mg).   I really didn't have a lot of crazy symptoms that I read that were associated with taking clomid.  In fact the first two days or so, I felt euphoric and completely high as a kite. (Anyone else get this feeling?)

One night, I got a couple moments of what I believe may have been "hot flashs".  One night I felt a wee bit sad, but I'm not sure if I can even attribute this to the clomid, because this whole experience makes me feel a bit depressed every now and then. One night a little bit of bloating feeling, but that could be because I ate more than normal that day.  

So I'm wondering if anyone has experience minimal symptoms besides me?  I'm worrying that maybe the clomid didn't even work.  Is that why I didn't have those horrible side-effects that I've read about.

Clomid will do that to you. I was on 100mg Clomid last month Cd5- Cd9. I was very depressed, tired all the time. I would just cry for no reason. I started getting hot flashes later on (3-4 weeks later). I wake up middle of the night feeling like I can't breadthe. Called my doctor yesterday he said it was Clomid side effects. I don't know why it took so long for the clomid to get out of my system. Good luck.

cry cry cry, I was a big cry baby, I went from crying from feeling like the happiest person, to crying from feeling very sad.  I was an emotional rollercoaster!

this would be a time my dh wasn't thrilled about treatment.  I am very cranky and short.  If something bugs me a little, I get extremely mad and my face gets really hot and I feel like I am going to explode.  Cry much more easy.

hello new here, I was on clomid 5 years ago the only side effect that stick in my mind was the HORRIBLE hot flashes. It was during the cold months too :( I didn't have these side effects till the second or third month of them. But I got pregnant, It turned out it was husband that had prostititus. After 2 1/2 months on anti-biotics I got pregnant :)

Interesting...I told the nurse and she said people really don't get a lot of bad side effects from clomid  I question that statement!!

I was on Clomid for 3 consecutive cycles before "upgrading" to ijectables and IVF.
Clomid made me the worst person ever...I wanted to hit people and I was depressed all the time.
Injectables were like fresh water after Clomid!

I remember my first round my boobs got so sore and swollen, I thought that I was pregnant because of it, but that wasn't the case. By the third round, I was trying to get my DH attention to ask him something and he was ignoring me because he was watching the t.v. I got so enraged that I picked up a kitchen chair and threw it at the wall...that night I learned a little about patching drywall, and the power of hormones.

I had very minimal side effects on Clomid. I had a 50mg cycle (which I did not O) and then I doubled to 100mg and again, I had no symptoms so I did not think it worked! But it did! I O'd and got a bfp.

I had a heck of a time last month, which was my first month on only 50mg.  I had cramps almost everyday from when I started the clomid, until about a week after my af was over for the following month (about 40 days total).  I also got severe headaches for the 5 days I was on it.  I was miserable and horribly depressed the whole month, as well as irritable.  My OB just said the cramps were from overstimulating the follicles, and everything was fine.  I am 90% certain I O'd just days after my af ended, but he's not as confident.  I had a drop in bbt followed by rise, the most CM ever, tender breasts and over course, cramps, cramps and more cramps... only time will tell!

I am new to this website and I got here by curiosity. I started Clomid yesterday. Last night, I had some hot flashes...but no moodiness or anything like that yet, of course...its early. We have been trying to conceive for 10 months now and I am just ready for a baby! I am okay with the idea of twins although there are none in my family that I am aware of. I am praying that I am one of the lucky ones who gets pregnant on the first round of Clomid...but I guess everyone prays that same prayer....

Hi I am on my second round of clomid 150mg on day 2-6.  I am currently on cycle day 10.  I didn't ovulate last month on 100 mg, but I had alot of bad side effect.  Hot flashes, headaches, and cramps.  But I haven't really been having those symptoms this time.  this round I have been having blurred vision.  It is weird.  It isn't as bad now, but while I was taking it I thought I was going crazy until I realized what it was.  I am not really having anything right now except for terrible mood swings.  Last night my husband was trying to look something up in the phone book and wasn't paying attention to me so I pitched the phone book out the front door and went upstairs and cried for about 10 minutes then I was fine.  I hope to God it works this round.  I want a baby so bad.  Well if anyone has any advice it would help
