Weight gain and clomid?

Hi,
  I'm on 150mg of clomid, and 200mg of prometrium, this is my third month, so far I have gained 10 lbs in the last three months.  Is this related to the clomid or am i emotionally eating?  I have never been overweight, I'm getting a little concerned.  anyone else gaining?

well I don't have a scale but I have been feeling way more hungry and felt a little bigger the other day. Didn't think much of it until I read the posts on here. It didn't say anything about weight gain being a sideeffect on the pack.

Hi, I am on Chlomid 100 mg.  I have been hungry all the time.  I think one possibility is I have cut down my gym visit and running so weight gain is inevitable (don't want to take any chances).  So far I have not packed on any pounds because I started walking a a few miles a day but if my current regime continues I can see myself gaining those pounds

I was on 50mg of Clomid and gained weight.  I'm not sure how much but when I stopped taking them I shed it like it was nothing.  I don't know if it was water weight or not but everyone else has noticed that I lost it too.  I'm supposed to start Clomid again the next cycle.  This is the one thing I'm NOT looking forward to.

I have been on meds for about two years on and off and the second I stopped exercising I have ballooned up! I have alot of other stress too and never any time to exercise (or the WANT to exercise). I have put on 50 pounds in the two years and it is killing me! Anyone who says these drugs don't make you fat is crazy!! :) Hope this helps!!

I have only been taking Clomid for 3 months and noticed a very unattractive tyre growing around my waist.... most unattractive and my boobs have increased to an enormous G cup! I asked the fertility clinic if it could be down to the clomid and they told me it 'can be' a side effect just like the birth control pill.... it doesnt cause your metabolism to slow down or directly cause weight gain but it can trigger something that makes you eat more

Hmmmm - that certainly is the case!! I just had an unmedicated cycle and my clothes are already feeling better.

I don't think it is so much the clomid, as the progesterone, which does increase your appetite.
