AWWW!!  I was so hoping you were going to check in with a BFP.  But how do you know for sure when you ovulated?

I have no clue when I o'ed I was thinking it should have been CD 11 but that obviously wasn't so this month....but I do know it was before CD 21 cause my progesteron showed that I o'ed.

I may be wrong but the reason I asked is because if you O'd then you would have to get AF approximately 10-16 days later.  I would wait a little longer for AF to come naturally if your progesterone showed that you did O.  Hopefully you O'd later than CD11 and you still have a chance for a BFP or for AF to come naturally.

Good luck!!

I'm still wondering since I'm still feeling sick and my nipples started being really sore yesterday and I'm really gasy and lots of heart burn I don't think I'm going to take the prometrium just yet.....well dont' know if my doctor will ever call me back to tell me what to do.

by paranoidpattie, Jul 20, 2007 11:41AM
I hope he calls you back soon because I'd be on pins and needles not knowing what's going on.  It's all really depending on whether or not you really O'd.  But since you said the doc said your high progesterone on CD21 means you did O then I guess it's just a waiting game from at least 10-16 days after CD21 or so.  Weren't you CD30 yesterday?  If so, I think you could be at the very least 10DPO or more but it's hard to say since you don't know exactly when you O'd, only that it was before CD21.

Let us know what happens after you talk to your doc.

hey guys, I have been away from the board for about a week, boy have I missed a lot. The board is even a bit different. the way messages post and stuff

Brown Eyed Girl... sorry to hear no bfp yet or AF ughhh bummer.

Just wondering do you temp?  I have found that by temping it helps me to better tell when I O, LP, and when AF is showing her face.  I am on Clomid 50mg and on the 3rd round, I am waiting to O this weekend, then the dreadful 2ww

No I don't temp but thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea starting next cycle if I can just keep myself on track......I took 1 month of clomid 50 mg and CD 21 prgesterone was 10.99 and then this month I took 100 Mg and CD 21 progesterone was still only 12.02 so my RE said next cycle 150 mg to get my progesterone at least 15 or more.

My progesterone wasn't really that good so it was only 12.02 on CD 21 so this next cycle she was  wanting to up me to 150mg clomid instead of 100mg  so if the nurse will ever call me back I will know where I stand  I'm on CD 31 today and I don't know what going on......

by paranoidpattie, Jul 20, 2007 01:57PM
A Progesterone level of 12.02 at CD 21 is good.  Anything over 10 is considered good for a woman not pregnant.  They only want it to be over 15 if you are pregnant.  My Progesterone was only about 7.5 and I was ovulating but the doc said it was still too low.  I think they said that anything over 5 or so means you do ovulate.  Ohhhh, I just remembered that you were on Clomid, so maybe that's why they say your Progesterone should be higher than that.  I don't know much about Clomid but I do know it should have an effect on the Progesterone levels.  But no matter what, I know I wouldn't take the Prometrium until I waited a few days still.  You should really start charting or OPKing so that you'll know for sure.

Good luck!

oh they told me that they wanted it to be at least 15 to show I was responding to the clomid.....yeah I know I started using opk's but ran out and never made it back to the store but still no O by CD 10 so I just assumed it was around CD 12-13  I was told to BD CD 12-15
