What if...?

am on my 2ww (6 DPT)...what if I get the flu? im asking because im getting flu symptoms: muscle aches, feels like there's a ball stuck in my throat, getting chills (even tho when I checked my temps, it was normal - 98.5). will the flu affect anything? i havent been around anyone who is sick plus I have been working from home since the 28th.

Did you get a flu shot? My dr made me, he said if I was trying to get pregnant I should have the shot. But I doubt it'll really be a problem for you this early, if you are preggers, your blood system isn't linked to the babies yet, or at least that's what I understand. I hope you're not getting the flu though, that's miserable no matter what! But I wouldn't worry.

no..i didnt get the shot...i never get the shot...the last time I got it, i ended up with a severe flu the next day and was out for 3 days! i was better off not getting the shot...and if i do get it, it's not bad (am only out for a day)...thanks for the reassurance :-)
