What is a good follicle size or is this too big?

This cycle I am on my third round 150 mg of clomid CD 4-8 and 1000 mg of metformin, I did two other rounds of 100 mg of clomid with no results, a total of 5 rounds of clomid. I went to the RE on friday (CD 15) for a mid cycle scan and he seen several 10s-13s and one 23. I have read everywhere they want a 18-20 is a 23 too big. They did the HCG shot on Friday, and didn't seem concerned he even said that he wasn't going to do a progesterone scan since he didn't think it was needed?

23 is perfect. When I did 150mg of Clomid my largest follie was 21. My doc was not happy with it being that small.  He wanted it 23-25 so yours sound great. :)

Great that makes me feel so much better I have been worried about it being too big. Thanks for telling me that, he didn't say it was too big or anything. I do know that its the biggest I have had as well. Thanks so much!!
