What to expect on Clomid?

I will be starting Clomid for the first time with my next cycle.  I am wondering what to expect as far as side affects are concerned.  Has anyone experienced dramatic weight gain on it?

i didnt gain any weight but i did get hot flashes alot and a little more emotional (like crying for a sad song or something stupid) but thats about it. oh and sore BBs but they also say you can get very moody hope this helps

I just got pretty moody on it, but no other side effects.

I am on Clomid for the second month.  First month was 50 mg and second (just finished up two days ago) month was 100 mg.  I had sore bbs and I also had some blurred vision which took me awhile to figure out that it was a side effect.  That didn't happen this month yet, but last month it happened two days after I was done taking it.  So far so good this month.  I didn't have any weight gain, although I am praying to get pregnant so that isn't too much on my mind because it is inevitable at this point...and I have never heard someone say they have.  I would also say I'm a little emotional also.  I think for the most part the side effects are very mild!  Good Luck!

Thanks ladies,

I wasn't sure what to expect.  I was a little worried about the weight gain.  My SIL gained about 20lbs. around my wedding a few years ago and said it was from the Clomid but I didn't see anything online about that being a side affect.  I have a feeling it wasn't exactly the medication.  I'm ok with putting on the lbs, but I'd like to have the excuse that it's the baby's fault!!
