When is the best time to test with a home pregnancy test?
When is the soonest it will show up on a home test? It is getting frustrating seeing negative results...I know a lot of womenWomen's way on here are having as much if not more of a stressful time dealing with infertilityInfertility Infertility - resources Primary infertility. I want you to know you are all in my prayers and I read all your posts. Thanks for listening.
It doesn't matter when your last clomid pill was - it matters when you ovulated. If you know that date I would wait until about 10 days after to start testing - I start testing at 7 DPO, but I'm weird.
No - I haven't...but I kinda started doing that when I was getting the trigger shot so I would know when it was out of my system. How long are your cycles normally? If you took clomid CD 5 - 9 and you have a "normalNormal saline flush" cycle, ovulating on CD 14 (or around there) then you would have ovulated on or around 3/7 which means you would be 12DPO and you would most likely get a positive test. But that is only if those are were the days that everything happened. Clomid tends to make me ovulate later. I usually o on CD 17 without clomid but with it I o around CD 20 or 21.
I would start using Ovulation Predictor Kits while you are on clomid. Good Luck!
Thanks...I have PCOS and have a period maybe once a year. I never ovulate on my own. How much are the kits and where is a good place to get them? I was feeling that cramping and my left ovary was giving me trouble. That was only a few days ago. I guess I must of ovulated and that would make it a very late ovulation. I guess Clomid does make you ovulate later. Thanks again.
I have pcos too - it *****. It would be a good idea for you to use the OPK's for this. Also, as your doctor to do a progesterone test a week after you get you r positive OPK. This will tell you if you did indeed ovulate. You can get them with the pregnancy tests - they range in price. I can find some for around $13 for 7 of them - and the digital ones are $30ish. I would start with the plain ones and see how that goes for a few months. It could be that the 50mg isn't working and you'll need to be put on a higher dose.
Good Luck!!
