When to have sex????

Hello to all.
Got my AF on 01-09. Started my first Clomid pill on Day 6 just like instructed...now on day 9. My question is when should we have sex to increase our changes of a bfp? I have heard day 12-14 or day  9-15 or everyother day for a week, and sooo many different things...So I want to know..in your opinions..when is the best time?

alot of women on clomid O much later in their cycle like close to day 19 or 20 i would sugest going out and getting some opks.

Hate to sound like a ditsy bug but what is a opk?

OPK's never worked for me while on Clomid - they came back false + a lot.  I just started to BD about 3 or 4 days after the last pill and then until about CD 18, when I stopped.  I also charted my temps and new to stop once they rose high.

Did you BD everyday or every otherday? Did you get preggo?

OPK is Ovulation Predictor Kit you can buy them at a drug store or supermarket.

I BD every other day and did not get pregnant but we late found out it's because my mucus is killing DH's sperm!

I'm sorry to hear that you did not get a bfp...my prayers are with you, thank you soo much for all you help in answering my questions. You have no idea how much I appreciate it, I live in Boondock USA and I have to drive 2 hours to see a OBGYN. It seems that there is no one to talk to around here about these types of things.


How did you finally conclude your mucus was hostile?


My DH and I have been TTC for 5mo now, and I know that we could have a long road ahead of us...because there are people that try ALOT longer...

My OBGYN says that I am not ovulating. I have had test after test done to find out why. I will not even get AF without Provera, and when I do get AF I don't O without clomid. On the 21 day of my cylce I have to go and get blood test done EVERY time. I still haven't Od. No one really has any explanation for this, they just tell me that this is whats going on, and give me another round of clomid and provera.

Well, they did a postcoidal test to see how much sperm was in my mucus and there was next to nothing.  DH's count is great, so that wasn't it.  I guess they said my mucus was really thick and the sperm couldn't move around in it.

Sorry to hear that. What kind of treatment can they do for that?

I don't mean to sound ignorant but what is DH, BD, and bfp?

DH is dear husband,
BD is baby dancing (sex)
BFP is big fat negative.
