any words of wisdom how to prepare myself for the 2nd IVF?

I will do my second IVF in May, and I am really praying for the positive result. I am going to see my doctor tomorrow and I am having very strange symptoms right now such as sore body, pelvic and abdominal pain on one side, lightheaed, missed period etc. I got my negative blood result on Monday. Any advise what I should ask the doctor and how to get myself ready for the second take.

I'm going to start my meds for my first IVF, I'm very excited and optimistic!!! What medications were you on?  
I will be on Lupron, Follisum and then Reprodex (not sure of the spellings)

Hi Ladies... it has been a while since I have posted.  I just wanted to give you some encouragement.  My 1st IVF resulted in a m/c and I was a nervous wreck and obsessive (really throughout the whole process).  2nd time around, I decided I would relax (as hard as that is).  Did my transfer and 3 days later flew to Miami and laid on the beach for 5 glorious days.  The result - I got pregnant with twins.  Although, I lost one at about 8 wks, I am 29 wks pregnant with a little girl!!!  I tried not to think about it - no hpts, etc.  As difficult as it is, try to relax... stressing is not good for the body.  Good luck ladies!!!!!!  I wish you all BFPs!!!

I'm going through my 3rd round of IVF in May.  Guesss May will be a fun month for us all!  As far as advice, I do believe trying to to stress is good.  Take care of yourself & get your rest.  
I was also on the lupron,follistim, menopur the first 2 IVFs, this time they are dropping the lupron and adding ganorlex (spelling?).. good luck & prayers to you all.

Nothing yet. I will start it in May. I just had one and I need to take 1 month off. I was using Luprin and Follic. It worked very well, they got 7 eggs from and and I had 3 embryos transferred. But it didn't catch ;-( Maybe the second time. Good luck to you.

I had done 2 IVFs before. 2nd  one was last April, no succes both times. I changed my RE and he is not pushing for IVF yet. I am 30 and he thinks that I am young and there are some treatments I should try. We did 2 IUIs that did not work. Today he put me on Menopur injections. I hope this will work, but after 2 failed IVFs I am not able to stay positive. I will try incectables for few month if nothing happens then I will try IVF again. Good luck everyone
