by stillhopeful2008, Jul 05, 2008 12:07PM
Any success stories from anyone ttc? I was on Cabergoline for six mos. and now taking Bromocriptine for 1mo. I take 2.5mg once a day. What is the normal range your levels should be in to concieve? And how long does it take to become preg?

We are still trying. No results yet. I am on 5 mg twice a day. The prolactin level needs to be less than 25 to conceive. As long as the levels are higher than 25, there is always trouble conceving and even if one did it end up in m.c pretty soon. I know a friend who was on Bromocriptine and it took 3 months for them to conceive after the level has gone down to normal. They had a baby boy and he is healthy.
