I'm having to take baby aspiring and when I get pregnant, I'll go to the injections. I think they do it for some time, but I don't know if it is for the entire pregnancy.
Yeah I am on baby asprin too..I had a positive MTHFR. But my doc never talked abt heparin shots. My sis had 2 M/C in her 2nd trimester adn I think she has to be on heparin when she ttc next. I am confused if I should be on heparin once I concieve.Anyone knows? I have a doc's apt on 7th march so will ask him at that time too.
Baby dust to all
I am on my 9 pregnancy and I have 1 successful baby and he will be 1 on August 19th. I found out that I had 1 copy of Factor 5 and 2 copies of MTHFR in 2007 2 months before my successful pregnancy. Luckily, I found out. During the pregnancy I took 2 Heparin shots a day, baby aspirin, b12, b6, folic acid, multi-v, vitamin c, and calcium. During the middle of my pregnancy they switched me to Lovenox 1 time a day and then for the last 2 months it was Heparin again. I am now on my hope to be 2nd successful pregnancy, I am only 4 weeks and I am my 1st appointment on Tuesday. I know its gonna be long and hard, but the final product is well worth it, I wish all you girls much luck, and hopefully we all will have a wonderful pregnancy.
If you end up having to get heparin injections, then you do them and the baby aspirin is discontinued.
