by beyondready, Oct 17, 2008 05:16PM
Hi ladies today i had my first beta and it was 920!!!!!! We had two embryos transferred, could it be twins?  My last ivf cycle that ended in a m/c the first beta was only 68.  Any thoughts?

That can be doubled. Sounds like twins to me.

Wow, congrats!  What a strong first beta, definite twins possibility.
I am so very happy for you!

what day was it?
HCG is not an indicator of twins necessarily (I have had them all over the board with singletons and twins)
but some docs use it - I was at that at day 12 post three day transfer with these twins
