can I attempt IVF with Factor V Leiden?

I would like to know if I am able to undergo IVF with the Factor V Leiden mutation? I was recently married to a man that has had a vasectomy. We have decided that we would like to try to have a child together. I am not sure if I can undergo this procedure because of the hormones. All advice is welcome!

Heterozygote or homzygote? I have heterozygote (one gene) Factor V, and I have already tried injectables for IUI...with no problem. I only took three menopur shots (plus femara) each cycle, though.

If I'm not getting pregnant soon, we're probably also heading for IVF.

Are you seeing an RE?

I am heterozygote. I am not seeing a re yet we just started discussing having another child.  
I just wanted to see if IVF was posibble before I got my hopes up.

Well, my RE knows I have Factor V, and he's still suggesting IVF if nothing happens soon, so I would think IVF would work for you too. I'm sure we'll have to discuss all of this further if we get to that point, though...
