clomid question

hey girls i have a quick question. so af showed but its like pink-brown spots & i wasn't sure if i can start clomid. for some reason i keep on thinking i have to start clomid on a heavy flow...can anyone help when should i start clomid??? thanks so much!!!!

They consider cd1 as 1st day of "flow" which requires a tampon or pad. Did dr give you a day to start it? I do cd2-6, but know many that do 5-9.

Hey! I'm taking clomid, this is my last day. I know that most doctors consider the first menstrual day as the first day of actual flow, not spotting. But what are your af's usually like? Are they light? Did you take provera to bring it on? I started day 3 of my cycle, which day are you supposed to start on?

My OB considers the first day of actual flow Day 1...but my RE says if anything shows up before midnight to count that as   Day 1.    Both of my Dr.s have me doing Clomid Day 5-9.

Hi, I start chlomid this week!  My Dr. has instructed me to take it before bed, both pills at the same time and starting on CD 3.  Then on CD 13 she wants me to come in for a shot (gonadtropin/novarel).  I am scarede and hopeful. I have had ectopics and am 37.  So im on my last leg... I hope yours works!!!!

I took clomid CD 3-9  guess everyone it different.

my dr wants me to take clomid on cd 2-6. i actually started yesterday so i hope this is my month. i saw my dr in july & all he said was take this & this , see you in three months hopefully pregnant. i've read & heard  many dr check to see if you ov but not mines (how weird). hes not even monitoring me.  i dont know what to do. this is the 3 dr i see. any advise???

Has he checked your progestrone levels at all?  My Dr. didn't really monitor me either just had me get blood drawn every month on CD 21 to see if I was responding to the clomid  and kept upping my dose until the 3rd cycle and I got a BFP......although it ended last week.  Maybe you should ask your Dr. about that.
