Hey everyone! I'm new to this....
Well I've been on clomid 100mg for 2 cycles and we've been trying for 2 years.(one m/c) Last month my progesterone level was a 2.7 this month it was a 56. I took a pregnancy test 5 days before I'm due for my cycle, and got a negative reading. The nurse that gave me my results from my 21 day progesterone test said that that number is really high and that I could be preg. Is she right? If so why did I get a neg. on my hpt? Anyone have any advice for me?
Unfortunately, progesterone levels are no indicator of pregnancy. The only indicator of pregnancy is HCG in your system. The good news is it sounds like the Clomid worked and you ovulated. Also, high progesterone levels help prevent miscarriage. The other good news is that 5 days before AF is due may have been too early to test. So hang in there, you still have a chance for a BFP. Good luck.
5 days is pretty early. Those levels look good. I've heard of people that got high progesterone levels and were preggo. Hang in there, the signs look promising.
the first month on clomid my levels were 31.7 i went to the doc yest for my annual
and he said 15 means that there was one egg and in my case there was two eggs
so in your case there was probably three possibly four eggs. Just because we have
the eggs it doesn't mean that they will get fertilized. Do you have problems with you cm
since you are on clomid i have a bad problem with it and doc wants to lower my clomid if im not preggo this month
Oh well maybe next month....
