Hello and welcome don't worry about the spelling we all are here for the same reasons! I am with you! I had back to back IUI's this month on 10/16 and 10/17. I had 21 follicles this month...10 on my left (I have no tube) and 11 on the right which 3 measure 17 the I triggered so Im sure at the time of my first IUI they wer at least 18 and maybe 20 by the time of the second IUI! How many follicles did you have?

I had my IUI on 10/12. My RE has me take the HCG shot twice after the IUI (10/15 & 10/18). So the symptoms that I am having I am not sure if it is the medicine or preg. symptoms. It's driving me crazy!! Today I had cramping like muscle cramps in my stomach all day. It was very different from menstrual cramps. Who knows what that means???

I am not sure because I have never heard of taking it after the IUI's but it seems so lofical! If they say the sperm last 24-72 hours then that way you should ovulate within that time? I truly hope they didnt do my IUI's too early! I have nevr triggered on CD 10 and IUI's on CD 11 10/16 and CD 12 10/17 I am usually an 28-30 day person and CD 1 for me was 10/6???

Well today is the end of my 2ww. I got a BFN this morning, so I have to call the Dr and see what I am supposed to do next. Probably stop the prometrium and wait for AF to show up. Guess we go another round this month.

Doctor told me to stop prometrium, wait for AF to show. Go back in for baseling US and BW on CD 1 or 2 then start injections again on CD 3. Please pray for us that it works this time. I don't know how many times I can go through this.

I dont think I have one but what are signs of an ectopic pregnancy? I am just asking because the Nurse said my HCG levels showed that there wasnt a pending miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. I am just curious. My IUI with my daughter they triggered me on like day 10 of my cycle and it worked. This time they triggered me on day 18. As long as they give that HCG trigger which makes you ovulate whenever they want you to then you are ok. They can make your cycle as long or as short as they want.

Now i'm really nervous. I had my bloodwork for my progesterone levels yesterday. They told me the Dr would call if they were low. If you knew me you'd know I needed an answer either way so i called this morning. The nurse just told me it was 10.2 but with endometriun that should be fine. She was going to have the Dr call me. Everything i have read is that the number should be around 20. Does this mean it didnt work, this is going to feel longer now. The 27th is so far. My natural AF wouldnt be here until the 29th or 30th. Please tell me what you think. :(

I wouldn't worry about progesteron 10.2 is not really that bad. If they were concerned the would have let you know there was a problem and they would have either put you on progesteron or if you are on it, they would increase the dosage.

OUCH thats all I can say...when you press in it is not as painful but letting that area go quickly causes you major pain, very tender during bd and spotting in between...It was horrible pain and always a constant throb!! When is the next hcg again?

I have a dull like cramping pain on my left side but I believe that is where my cyst was an no follicles so I wouldnt have an ectopic on that side. Like I said its very dull. Not as bad as AF cramp. I am waiting for Dr to call me back cause I called to make sure that is the side it was on. I have absolutely no spotting. I shouldnt be worrying I am just weird like that. I guess if there is no spotting or major pain then I shouldnt worry, right? Do you definitely have bleeding with that? After my molar pregnancy last yr I am like worried about everything haha. I go back tomorrow for another HCG. I am sure it will be ok but once I hear that the number doubled I will finally be at peace haha

I was right, cyst was on left side. Maybe my uterus is just expanding also and maybe that is some of the pain along with the cyst. Its soo hard to remember from back in 05 how things felt at first. I will let you guys know what my results are on the beta tomorrow

Hey don't get yourself worked up and nervous spotting can be a sign...I was at Walmart that's why it took me so long to respond..trying to stay bust since im only 5dpiui and have a while to go...My back hurts but its not lower back about where your bra strap would lay and I also have that "full feeling again" So just waiting around...Let me know what the doc days after your HCG...

I triggered on CD 10 and had the IUI on CD 12 which I thought was early too. But this is the first month that I have been so closely monitored. My RE has me do the HCG shot before IUI to trigger ovulation then after IUI to make my body think that I am pregnant. HCG helps the body produce more progesterone. So I definately feel pregnant! Hopefully I really am... The HCG after IUI are a much smaller dosage and more diluted. Good luck to you!

I am 4dpiui and bloated, can barely walk and praying for a miracle. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. Preggers which ended in MC after five weeks on Christmas 2006. We have done several rounds of clomid but it thins my lining. We are on our second IUI plus HCG shots and trigger shot. But Doctor only used one day for iui.

I really dont know why I am being obsesive over the ectopic thing because I have no signs of it... it just popped into my mind when she said my numbers showed no sign of ectopic or miscarriage. I am just afraid to get my hopes up too high and have something happen like last yr although like I said before I got pregnant on my own somehow last yr. I feel good right now. I will let you know what my numbers are tomorrow. Once I hear that they have doubled then I will stop obsessing heehee

Hi everyone,  this is my first time posting on the forum.  It has been really helpful and a blessing to me to read about everyone else's experiences when it comes too the iuis and 2ww.
We I had iui done on wed, 10/15 and Thursday 10/16.  had spotting both days after the procedure.
I am now 5 dpiui and am having very light cramps, weird heaving feeling in lower abdomen, back pain - in the same area you mentioned, around the bra strap area.  Also I am short of breath sometimes.  I have never bfp and i am really nervous as my dh and i want this so bad.
We have been married for 6.5 years now and are ready to grow our family.
I am sorry to keep going on and on but I am really nervous during this 2ww.  I went for b/w today and progesterone was 27 (on prog vag supp) and estrogen was 267 also on climara estrogen patch.  My beta is next tuesday, 10/28.
I don't know how to feel as I am anxious, hopeful, worried, excited, all emotions in one...
I just try to keep the faith and pray that i get a bfp next tuesday.

Any thoughts as to symptoms this time in the game???

Hate to say welcome because that means you are in the same boat as we are! This is a great forum everyone here is so supportive! We are very close in schedule...I had my IUI's done on 10/16 and 10/17 and will be going for a progestrone check on 10/23. From what I know the progestrone shows that you did ovulate :)
As far as the emotions this is a rollercoaster! I woke us this morning and my bbs are not as tender, no back ache ... and I know that can be a sign of BFP. I also know that the trigger shot causes these symptoms and if I have not implanted yet then they will go away and if we have success that will return... From what I read implantation is about 10 days after the procedure and can cause light cramping and some spotting but some implantation can start as soon as 7 days and have no spotting every body and every cycle is different thats why this is so unpredictable.

Also dont get discouraged if next Tuesday you get a BFN that can be too early for you. In 07 I did not get a BFP until 6 days after AF was due! When is you next cycle due? If a bfn and no AF by then I would retest.

Everyone is so close in time. My beta is the 27th. I wish everyone soooo much luck. I hope everyone comes back BFP. This morning my boobs feel fat but not as tender. I have a quick cramp every so often, sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right. I hope thats a good sign. My temp is still up but I'm not sure if thats an accurate way to test.

Nurse FINALLY called me. Felt like I was waiting forever. I have no pain today and she said my beta was 214 which she said is very very good. On Monday it was 97 so it a little more than doubled. I asked her if its a normal number and she said yes. I go for an ultrasound on Nov 3rd at 8:30 AM and she said hopefully by then we will be able to see something. I cant wait to see my peanut. :o) Good luck to you and let me know when u take a test and get a BFP, I know you will get one.

Hi, I just joined your forum.

We tried clomid for six months and nothing.  We took a break for a few months.
This month we did the bravelle injections (cd5-12), hcg trigger on cd 14, had the iui on cd 16.
I have had cramping and bloating since the iui.  I had heartburn for two different days over the last week and half, I haven't had it in the last few days.  My breast are sore, but not full.  I have had no implantation bleeding.  I feel like I have a cold, stuffy nose, sore throat, etc.  Do you think the iui worked or does it not sound good?
On Monday I took a hpt (cd 27) to came back positive.  I don't want to get my hopes up since it could be from the hcg shot, is that right???
I have my first doctor's appointment tomorrow since the iui.  Does anyone know what he'll be doing?
The waiting is driving me crazy!!!!

You said you took the HPT 13 days after your HCG trigger? If it came back BFP I would say then you are pregnant. All the symptoms you talked about sound like the ones I had. I had no implantation bleeding this time but I did with my daughter. Everyone and every pregnancy is different, not everyone has implantation bleeding.

Take another HPT today if its 14 days or over from your IUI. Thats when I was told to do it and it came back positive and so did my blood work. Good luck and let us know.

Sounds like a postive to me it normally take 10 days for the trigger to be out of your system...Tomorrow he will do blood work to check your beta numbers normally clinic will call you later in the afternoon with the results. So congrats and keep us posted with your numbers!

Congarts I told you not to worry I have been praying soooo hard for you! Those numbers sound fantastic! The little signs of bb tenderness is going away so hopefully it will return since the Ovidril should be almost out of my system its been 1 week today... I am going to do a hpt to make sure its out then I can start looking for other signs to see if we are pg this cycle. CONGRATS again and be sure to keep me posted with your progress!!! Today my belly feels tight at the bottom like I have been exercising (and I havent...lol) and I still have the back pain around the area where mt bra strap would lay???

I'm in a lot of pain today.  Went in for blood work and ultrasound and they saw follicles that were 28 to 34mm in size.  Many on both ovaries.  So I am trying to take it easy and pray that things will get better.  I can barely sit, get up, walk or stand.   But they did tell me that this is abnormal since I took the trigger shot on Thursday of last week.

Got my progesterone levels results today and they were good. It proves that I did ovulate and the meds worked. The nurse told me anything above a 10 is good. I am 10 dpiui and going crazy. I will get my BFP soon hopefully.

I think you are going to get a BFP this month. Do you have any cramps? I had cramps like 6 days before AF was due and then they lasted for like 3 days and went away before AF was due. My bb's were sore also. I had lower back pain. When are you going to test or go for bloodwork?

I feel really good today. I have no cramps. I am thinking things are going to work out good this time. I am going for my ultrasound on the 3rd and I will let you all know how things look then too.

Hi Girls it has been a while since I have been on the post. Congrats to all the BFP... That gives us all hope that it can work for us too. So this is my question my DH and I have been trying to conceive for many years now on our own and on clomid I have two IUI this year that was unsuccessful that I took clomid and then for 4 days I took menopur to enlarge the follicles I suffer from pcos. Now I am trying to decide what to do. I am not really sure if we should go strait to IVF or try using the shots and IUI since we have not done that yet. I know the price difference is dramatic and I am not sure how we should go. I would love your advice. I am so thankful to have someone to talk to that knows hands on what you are going threw. I had a lot of follicles, like around 16 at a mature follicle size. How many did you have? My blood test is on Halloween morning, but I am planning to take a test the day before since that will be 12dpiui and I got a positive result the last time I got pregnant after Iui. Hi! If I were you, I would definitely try IUI with injectables for at least a few cycles. Most of the time the first cycle does not work, but some people are lucky on their first try. The shots are really not bad. I am in my 2 ww after my fourth IUI, second in a row. IVF is so expensive and I have been through three cycles of that as well. It is a lot more to go through and a lot more expensive. Good luck!

Im tires and my boobs are sore. I know that doesnt mean much. Could be anything. Good luck with you test tomorrow. This is our first and only iui. Our insurance doesnt cover anything so we could only afford to do it once. I have unopened boxes left of follistem but still need 2 more so this month needs to be it. You had a lot of follicles, thats great. We had 15, 4 matured. Do u have symptoms?

No, I don't have any symptoms yet..I think it is too early. Your symptoms could be a good sign, but it could also be a side effect of the prog. support. If your bbs feel even more sore then I would take that as a great sign. I will be back later on. Have a great day!

Hey Mommy :) no cramps but my AF would not be due until 11/3 or 11/4 I am usually a 29-30 day person so it would be too soon for cramps right??
I don't have lower back pain for the last past couple of days I have had pain around the area where your bra strap would lay.
I am going in tomorrow to have my progestrone checked to make sure that I ovulated...I also started doing the Ovulation tracker chart (on this site).
I really hope this works this month...As far as my bb's they are not sore themselves just sensitive (very) nips.
I have been urinating alot more frequently and like I said before took the ept to see if the Ovidril was gone.
I am sooo glad you feel better and are starting to relax. PLEASE keep me posted I will be watching for you post. And thank you so mucj for the positive wishes and vibes!! I do feel really bloated still too???

I definitely think you should do injectables and IUI. They worked for me twice on the first try. Once with my daughter who is 2 and it worked again for me now on the first try this time.

I would say like 8 or 9 days past iui I had sensitive like bb's, I dont really know how to explain it other then like it felt like when my milk was drying up after I had my daughter. I also started with AF cramps and they lasted like 3 days and went away. I also had lower back pain. I just had a feeling that I was. You know a woman can tell what is going on with her body very well if you just tune into it. You cant really over analyze. I think its going to work for you. I only had one IUI and only had 2 follicles so I am sure it will work for you. I know its hard waiting... believe me I know. HAHA. Please let me know when you find out. I cannot wait to hear.

Just proves they are angels and miricles and when God says yes then its my turn. I am staying positive though...Tomorrow is 8dpiui #1 and 7dpiui #2 :)

I'm 11dpiui. I am having symptoms but I also took the HCG shot after the IUI as well as before IUI. So my last HCG shot was 10/18, not sure if symptoms are real or from the meds. Monday & Tuesday I started having cramps (like muscle cramps) but they went away. Now the last two days I have had a headache. I am going to take HPT on Sunday if no AF. Good luck!

I went to the doctor, it came back positive. my hcg level was 400 and my p4 was 80, i used the hcg trigger 16 days ago, the iui 14 days ago.

I may be jumping the gun I am now getting a little discouraged...I just took my evening shower and noticed that the sensitivityI was feeling in my nips are gone :( I am7dpiui number 1 and 6dpiui number two....Is it too soon for me to worry or do I need a few more days. Also I have been having the chills today...for the last few days I had been feeling unusually warm and today my nose feet and hand are very cold?

That is so weird because I have been getting these hot spells where my face will turn red and I don't feel hot but my face is hot. Maybe that is a good sign that our hormone levels are still high. I do think it is too early for you to worry about the soreness being gone since it normally takes 6-10 days for implantation to occur and then a few hours after implantation the HCG is produced and you would start to feel symptoms. My nips are sore but I am expecting to get cramps during implantation so I am waiting on them.

Thanks I feel nothing at all today just having a few hot flashes today yesterday my temp was 97.8 and today 97.9 but no soreness no cramps... and with my first pg in 07 I had no implantation cramping or spotting??? I just don't know what to think. I had my progestrone checked today and the results will be in tomorrow so I will post. Im sure I ovulated though.

I've been having the hot flashes as well. I thought it was all in my head, glad to hear its not just me. Im 11dpiui today, no cramps and boobs are tender but not as sore as they were, is that good? Stay positive and good luck with the progesterone check. Im sure all is well. With my first pg I had no spotting or cramping and have a beautiful son.

I am not sure?? I am lost here I see about 80% have sore bb's I had them and now they are fine...not even tender which makes me think that they were just tender from the hcg shot??? Just as an fyi, i was doing some checking on other sites and the boob thing is over rated. Alot of people were saying they never had sore boobs and were BFP, some said the soreness went away and were BFP. This is confusing. I guess as much as we want there is no true sign until the 2 pink lines. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Ok my RE's office called and my progestrone camed back at 55...all I know with tah is that I ovulated is the number good for anything else. I see on some of the post that the re's check the estrogen and why is that...my re did not check munes should I request that? Today still no syptoms (symptoms) and I am 9dpiui just hot flashes then chills????

Hello! Thank you for all the welcome wishes! I feel right at home! I tried to log on a few times after my initial post, but couldn't get on...something to do with "cookies" my DH said and fixed it. So....here's my update...had a pregnancy test yesterday (after 2 negative HPT). The result is "positive" BUT the lowest of the low # (didn't tell me what that was) and they are not "optimistic" and told me to "take it easy" this weekend. They want me to come back on Monday for another test. What do you guys think?

Follow the recommendation!!! Stay off of your feet...no bending, pushing, pulling, just relax...a low number is sometimes a indication of miscarraige...I have read people with very low numbers and go on to have healthy babies just stay postive and relax...Keep us posted with the next number...

I just got my results from yesterday's hormone level blood test. My prog. is over 20(as long as it is over 20, that is all they care about. They don't give us an exact number like yours did), but I would definitely consider 55 prog. a good sign. I know that when I got pregnant by IUI my prog was over 40, so 55 is good. I would ask them and see if they can tell you what your estrogen was. Mine is 820. I would love to hear what yours and other people's level has been one week after IUI or around that. If you find out what your estrogen is, please let me know. I don't have any symptoms either.

I'm having som spotting, very little. Nothing a liner cant handle. I have minor cramps. Usually with my AF I get cramps an hour before and then im in the bathroom with stomach aches. Im 12dpiui, is it possible this is implantation? I never had that with my son so i guess i'm a little worried. If it's implantation, how long should it last and whats the heaviest it should be? :(

Implantation bleeding can occur at the same time you expect AF. Implantation bleeding won't last very long. If it is AF the bleeding will get heavier. I am 13 dpiui so we are very close together. It definately gets harder the closer I get to finding out if I am BFP. Good luck!

I got pregnant when my progesterone level was over 40, but I don't remember what my estrogen was since it was a few years ago. What I do know is that my estrogen level was 82 one week after my last IVF attemp and it was 356 one week post my last failed IUI. And I know for me, I got pregnant when my estrogen was over 1000 on the day they had me take the trigger. I'll look for your results. I am very gassy today with cramping, but it could be the gas.

hoping0104-I think implantation takes three days. I am not sure about implantation bleeding. I had AF cramps during implantation when I got pregnant but no bleeding. Good luck!

TT re's office today and he said dont worry about doing the estrogen check??? So I guess I will just be playing the waiting game Ii am 10dpiui #1 and 9dpiui #2 today ....II woke up this morning with minimal cramoing but it subsided afetr about 15 minutes so I gguess it may be the ribs we had for dinner last night...lol...So again today no symptoms just on standby I am still hopeful and keeping faith...I will be testing Next Sunday..

Well, so far it's just light bleeding only when i wipe(sorry). No real cramping and definately not a real AF. I'm 13dpiui and have my blood test tomorrow. I am really nervous. I feel like I might be pregnant but maybe it's just wishful thinking. I have a stupid and personal question, can implantation bleeding be a light brown along with light pink? This is my first time writing on this post but I have been following it since my iui on 10/12. I took my hpt this morning and came back with a BFN :( I was not on any meds this first time around except the progesterone (our issues are due to DH having 0 sperm count), but this next round my RE wants to try Repronex shots once/day. What ***** is that I have to order the meds from overseas and they won't be here in time to start this cycle so I have to wait another month. ARGHHHH!

I dont have any other symptoms. My boobs aren't sore anymore. Is that a bad sign? My Af isnt due until 10/29-10/30. It's definately very light yesterday and so far today. Not my normal AF signs at all. I also still have a bbt of 99.0. I cant wait til tomorrow. good luck to you both

I think you are on the right track too! My HPT was a BFN on 13 and 14 dpiui, then blood test was BFP (but a low-low #)...too scared to take another HPT this weekend, going to wait for dr appt tomorrow. Not many symptoms here...stay positive!

I took a HPT today and got a very faint positive result (14dpiui). I will test again in a few days to confirm results. Then go to RE for blood test probably on Thurs. (if I can wait that long!). I took the HCG shot after IUI as well as before so not sure if it is from the shot. I will keep you posted. Hopefully I will be adding my name to the list of BFP's.

My last shot was on 10/18. So it was 8 days ago. After the IUI it was a smaller dosage than before IUI. It is also more diluted. Thanks for the positive thoughts! I am going to go out and buy some more HPTs and test again in a couple of days. By then the HCG will definately be out of my body. I haven't even told my DH yet. I don't want to say anything until I know for sure that it is a BFP. I have said that I thought that I was pregnant so many times just to be dissappointed later.

hi i just read everyones stories and i feel very comfortable here i had my first iui with femera and injections in feb and miscarried so we waited a couple of months and this month we used tomoxifin to thicken my lining and did injections had my iui on the 21 and was very sore for a couple of days but they said that could be a good sign do to more follicles being released congrats to all who are preg. and good luck to all who are in the 2ww it is very nerve wrecking

My symptoms are small headache for a few days and extreme fatigue for at least a week now. I also had cramping about 7 dpIUI. Oh and sore bbs for about a week now. It feels like muscle pain. I bought some more HPTs so I will test again tomorrow. I will do blood test on Thursday. When would I go in for the second blood test?

Does anyone know how long after you stop taking progesterone AF should come? After reading your posts, I am wondering if my BFN this morning is just because it was too early, though I am 14dpiu. If I don't get AF by Tuesday should I retest?

Also, my RE is prescribing Repronex (or it's generic) for my next cycle. Has anyone out there been on that? What's it like? I am terrified of needles and my DH is not thrilled about having to give them to me. Are they as bad as they seem?

I took Menopur (similar to Repronex) and HCG shots last month for the first time. The shots weren't bad at all. I am also afraid of needles and faint at the sight of blood. The needles for the Menopur were very tiny and thin so they didn't even hurt at all!

Thanks for the positive thinking and keep your fingers crossed please! I will know soon enough if it really is a BFP or just the meds talking.

Thanks for all your help and support. I woke up this morning and the bleeding is slightly heavier. The dr office said to take a hpt and it was BFN. I'm 14dpiui today. I really thought this was it. We're trying to borrow money to try for 1 more month. I still have some medication left over but we need to pay for the ultrasounds and blood work out of pocket. Crappy insurance. Does anyone know where i might be able to buy follistem, ovidrel or endometrin cheaper?

I just had my Laparascopic Surgery on Thursday. Dr. removed some scar tissue from my C-Section (9yrs ago), removed some endometriosis, drained a cyst, and removed something else. He wasn't sure what it was- and thought it might have been left over from my c-section. I go back tomorrow for a follow up appointment. Just glad that he found something!
Obviously we aren't trying this month...

this is my first post here. I had my IUI on 10/17 and today i am 11dpiui. I have very sore bbs, cramping on and off, lower back pain and frequent urinating. I did hpt since saturday and only shows neg. is it too early?? This is my first time here and I am glad that I am not the only one that reads into ever little detail regardless of how small. I had my very first IUI - natural, no drugs - 10/15 and tomorrow is my 14th dpiui. I too have all the normal signs and symptoms of AF, so I am pretty bummed. Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) I do not have any issues with fertility - my DH has a very low sperm count. Anyone facing the same issue?

I also had iui done on 10/17 I know they normally want you to wait at least 14 days after iui so really it will be day 15 of your iui before you test. You are having typical signs :) I think it just may be too early! Good luck and keep us posted! My re will not test until 11/3

thanks for the reply. I had a miscarriage last year at 9wks and im just so scared to relive that nightmare. i tend to over analyze the "symptoms' and last year while pregnant,i had no symptoms except for being tired. I have more now. Im pretty sure the the hcg shot is out of my system, otherwise the hpt would have picked it up right?? so im hoping these "symptoms" are natural and not a result of any meds. Im currently not on anything. I took Brevalle and then Novarel trigger . but nothing since.

I had my blood tests again today for my hcg and p4 levels. On Thursday the numbers were hcg 419 and p4 over 80 and today (Mon) the hcg went to 1686 and she didn't tell me the p4 level. Do you guys still think those numbers are high? Posssibly twins? I'm new to this, so any input is greatly appreciated.
I am starting having my first symptom - I have to pee all the time.

Well I guess my husband and I are going to try again. We had to borrow some money due to lack of insurance coverage. :( We start gaain on Wednesday with the same meds(follistem ovidrel and endometrin) I really hope it works this month, we have no favors left. Im glad to hear so many positives.
jen2831- My dh has a low sperm count also, i checked out fine. We had 3million at iui. We're starting again on Wednesday. How low is dh if you dont mind me asking? i cant wait to hear your results. Good luck

We only had a total of 3.6mil on they day of our IUI. His past analysis has shown 16mil per mL at his highest and 1.2mil per mL at his lowest. Did you do a natural cycle (no meds)?

I was very gassy two days ago and had cramps from two days ago until today. They have sub so I hope it is a good sign. I will take a testsidedd. I have had a hard time sleeping and have had to go to the bathroom during the night. I had AF cramps when I got pregnant the first time, so I hope it is a good sign.

My dh actually has zero sperm count and I checked out fine. We are having to use a donor. I am at 15dpiui and got a BFN yesterday morning. AF has not reared her ugly head yet but I've only been off the progesterone for a day and a half. Not sure that I needed it but RE put me on it just to help boost things a little. Unless AF doesn't come, we will be starting shots with this cycle to try and boost things a little more. RE is trying to give me a higher chance since we have the extra cost of the donor (of course, my insurance covers nothing). Currently I have no symptoms of AF or PG.

Well I broke my word and took a ept hpt thie evening and it was a BFN called re's office and the nurse said it may still be too early??? And that ept may start to pick up hcg when it is at least 50??? I did not read the box before I used the cute little digital thing! I am 11dpiui #1 and 10dpiui #2 she said if the one was a success on day 2 or day 1 it can be too early to tell?? I don't know if she was just trying to keep me hopeful or not.I told her at this point I am totally symptomless... I did read a few blogs and some people were negative on 11dpiui and then BFP later the same cycle...I couldnt resist with all the BFP's going around I was hoping to see mines :( Now I am regreting that I did it...

Baby4Shellbie-never heard of that one but who knows what all the hormones may due to our bodies as far as BFP symptoms! :)

Hey everybody. I have been reading all of your post and thought I would join in. I have never done this, so forgive me as I am not familar with the abbreviations. I had my first IUI on 10/22, which puts me 5 dpiui. I was on clomid, and the RE gave me my trigger shot on 10/21. No other meds. I have PCOS, and have been ttc for a year and half. I only had one egg for this iui which measured 25cm. Hubby's sperm count was 65million. The RE was not hopeful and said that she wished I had more than one egg. How many are all of you getting? Do think I still have a shot? I know that it is too early for symptoms, but I am having muscle like cramps. Nothing more. Thanks!

I went in for a blood test today to see if I am REALLY pregnant! I got 2 BFPs on HPT. I had 3 nurses tell me that I am probably pregnant then. I asked if the HCG shot would be out of my system and they said it should be by now. I will get the results tomorrow. After waiting 3 1/2 years, this next 24 hours is the longest wait ever!!! I will keep you updated on my progress. Good luck to everyone! We are on a roll with all of these BFPs.

Even though you didn't havea lot of eggs, the size of the egg is good and should be mature. Keep your hopes up...you have a chance just like everyone does.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to get allitle advice. My DH and I have been TTC for alittle over a year now I have PCOS and one of my tubes is blocked. My RE currently but me on BC pills for the next few weeks and then I will start my second round of shots(Follistim and Lupron). My Dr. wants me to do atleast 2 more months of shots then if i don't get pg she will do the laproscopy to unblock my tubes. I guess my question is that if it would be best for me to have the laproscopy done first before spending out all the money on shots to unblock my tube then try on my own then if that doesn't work do shots. I guess my fear right now is the financial costs and then not getting the BFP. I would rather save save save and use that money toward IVF if it comes to that. Idk if I am thinking too far in advance or what.

Anybody have any advice????

YES!!! If she thinks she may be able to unblock the tube, you're right, why do the meds first? I think the protocol is usually that they do the HSG before Clomid, etc since there's a greater chance of a tubal. If they find a blocked tube, they usually will take care for it then. So now would definitely be the time they should take care of it. I've only hear of delaying a lap if they're not sure what is going on, but if they suspect a blocked tube, they should fix it. Just mho!

I'm heading out now to have a u/s to see if my cyst is gone. Hope to be back on the train soon!

Yes 5dpiui is too soon, The IUI itself has some side effects and that may be what you are felling...Don't worry about other people follicle count believe me in 06 with my first pg I only had two and this time I had 11 and no pg signs yet and I am 12 days past iui so good luck to you this is a wonderful supportive forum keep us posted!

km-My re's office said that you can have symptoms from iui's upto 21 days??? even after a BFP...Congrats mommy and keep us posted!

Im currently 11dpiui and i have loads of symptoms, but at 5 dpiui i had sore bbs, cramps, and sensitivity to smells. Now its mainly sore bbs, on and off cramps, lower back pain, always yawning, and food aversions. ... I have been taking hpt since saturday ( 8 dpiui) and its been neg which tells me the hcg shot is out of my system. I will take a test again tomorrow morning... crossing my fingers for a plus sign!!

Yes, that happened to me last week (Thurs...13dpiui), but my test was BFN on Friday too...only blood test on Friday was BFP...
I know that is probably not helpful...not sure why it would change results...

mommytobe33- I would guess that you didn't have enough HCG in your system yet for the positive to show up in the morning, but by night time there was enough so it means you must be pregnant! As long as it is not too early for you to test. A few hours can make a difference with HCG levels.

I am now 11dpiui and still totally symptomless took a ept/hpt yesterday night and BFN tt re's office they are still hopeful saying it may be too early??? Also nothing has changed my bbt stays at 97.7-97.9 and again no symtoms...all of mines are opposute cold not warm not constipated i am going alot that way (tmi) not tired lots of energy...so I am just waiting I have just about written this cycle off...and my re's office says they wont test on 11/2 but after 11/5 when af is due!

Well, I am a little discouraged but still hopeful. I am 10dpiui and thought I saw implantation spotting yesterday when I wiped.and today I have gotten some red stuff on the toilet paper. I really thought it was implantation bleeding before since it was so early but now I am not sure because there is more than before which is a bad sign and it is redder which isnot good either. Can implantation bleeding be red...is that possible? My boobs are also swollen and I don't think they get swollen before my period and I usually have bad cramps the day I am getting my period and my cramps have been on and off and light. Does anyone else get swollen breats before their period? Please tell me what you all think bout all of these things. Could I still be pregnant? Has anyone gotten their period before two weeks after the IUI? I am due for AF on Saturday so it is early...what do you think? I am so nervous now. A few hours ago I was pretty confident that I was pregnant. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Well ladies... I finally got my BFP!  My HCG levels were at 49.  I am testing again on Thurs. to make sure everything is moving along normally.  Thanks so much for your continued support.

For all of you having doubts about having only 1 follicle.  I only had 1 follicle measuring 22mm.  My RE said that is a typical cycle.  Women will produce more than one follicle but only 1 gets to be the queen and mature fully.

Kissten- You are a week ahead of me with your pregnancy.  Keep us posted!  It's fun for me to know what is coming next on my little journey to motherhood.

I think this cycle is a bust:( I am now 11 and 12dpiui and totally symptomless...I have all the opposite signs of a pg women...cold, energetic, no sore or swollen bbs, temps staying at 97.7-97.9...no constipation...(just the opposite...tmi), lessened appetite..all the opposites..called the re's office because I did a ept/hpt the other night and it was BFN the nurse said it may be too early since I had the iui's back to back and the second one may have did the trick and at that time it would have been only 10dpiui...if I had some type of inkling or small symptom that it was positive I wouldnt feel so down but DH is really dedicated to trying to have another baby so he just says if it doesnt work we will try next cycle it still does not make me feel better after 21 follies and 11 good ones! Do you see how many BFP'S!!!!! Taht is great and gives us hope :) Keep me posted with the ivf

Bfromthed; Keep your head up from what I've been reading on several posts some people didn't have symptoms and got a BFP. Sometimes the symptoms can only play mind games with you. So stay positive!! :)

I talked to the nurse today at my RE's office and she pretty much agreed it would be best to go ahead and do the lap but she had to talk to my RE so she's going to contact me tomorrow afternoon. I hope she decided to go ahead and do the surgery. I am not thrilled about going under the knife but atleast I will know going into the next round of shots that I stand a better chance with two open tubes not just one.

Congrats again to all the BFP's and to everyone us good luck and baby dust!!!

Well as I thought AF started this morning to my surprise!!! AF was not due until 11/5!!! I have never started no cramps, no spotting (full blown) no warning and this earlyy before my 2ww was even up (that was not until tomorrow). So I have already called re's office and left a message (they are closed still) to start the next plan for this cycle...So thanks for all the prayers I know one day we will be parents again! To all the BFP's this month keep posting it gives us inspiration to continue with the struggle and to all the BFN's stay with GOD believe me he hears our Cries and in the bible itt says be fruitful and reproduce so we have to just wait for our turn to shine. Hey, I'm new here and I've been following everyone's story. Kmcarino I started bleeding also exactly 10 piui. Today will be my third day bleeding but is lighter than what my af would and more than a pantyliner can handle. At first I also thought it could be implantation bleeding, then the second day I got discouraged. I called my re's office and I went for blood work this morning. I would keep you posted on those results. I'm so confused. At least I'll have an answer this afternoon. Good luck to all!

I am back with you all in the 2WW AGAIN! This month I did clomid 100mg on cycle days 5-9 I spoke with my gyn when I got my cycle 10/8 I was only 8 dpo. So to fix my luteal phase a lil she said to do the clomid and I should be starting progesterone on Friday. Hopefully this is my month. And to all that got BFP's CONGRATS! Fingers crossed and SSBD to all still waiting.

Just remember that everything happens for a reason, I know its hard right now to believe that but it does. I realized that with my molar pregnancy after crying and crying. Congrats on all the BFP'S. That is so good to hear. I went to the dr this morning to start all over again only to find out that I have very large cysts on my left ovary and a few small ones on my right. They said it was too risky to use meds but I could possibly still do iui w/out. They're suppose to call me later to let me know. If so I have to do the home ovulating kits and go in when its positive. This month will hopefully be our month because it's our last. (lots of reasons).
I have 2 unopened boxes of follistem, does anyone know of anyone who might need them?
bfromthed- I'm sorry about the AF showing up. Mine showed at 12dpiui, earlier than my cycle. it will happen! :)

I need some advice on this: last night, i had some severe cramping, i mean i was waiting for the first drop of AF to appear. i was in the fetal position and in tears. Im 11 dpiui today and no AF this morning and no cramps. I took a hpt and it showed bfn. I also have managed to come down with a cold...stuffy nose, sneezing, cold flashes, and was pretty achy last night. Any thoughts????

TT re's office going in tomorrow for baseling monitoring to start another cycle...The nurse said they could not believe that I called with news of AF because I had such positive numbers this cycle and the back to back iui's! they had me do a beta to be on the safeside and it was negative at less than 2...so keep praying for us and keep posting the BFP"s keep us inspired to keep going and I enjoy reading the happy stories! I will keep posting as this cycle goes with treatments and the next iui's!

Jezebel888: RE has no explaination and was truly shocked I was not pg this cycle because of all the great numbers we had this time around.. if you really think about it cant be explained I think it is truly a blessing and when God says ok! I am not giving up going in tomorrow for baseline u/s to get a plan for next months iui's! My endo lining was 11 so he said that was good and my progestrone was 55!!!

Mommytobe- Good luck I will be watching for your post...Fear is a natural reaction to the unknown!! Especially when its something that we want sooo bad!

I too got AF today after stopping the progesterone after my BFN on Sunday. I am trying folistem this time and am also going for my baseline tomorrow. I am not sure what to expect since I didn't use meds this last time. What exactly are they testing for? Also, I know it's tmi but this was my first iui and AF is more than twice as heavy as usual and am wondering if that's from the progesterone?

Baby4Shellbie - I am also so sorry that your numbers did not rise. I was praying for you as well. You are so right that friends don't have a clue. I too am glad I found this group. I think when they are testing so early in the cycle they are looking for early follicles, but other than that, I don't know what the blood means...Yes, my AF was much heavier last time (but I also attributed it to the m/c) I've done the drugs 2x now and we were 2 for 2 with conceiving, just can't keep 'em!
