I'm new here.  I'm on my 2WW after IUI #3 on March 23rd.   I've been feeling NOTHING. I'm not getting my hopes up as this last time the counts were so low again. I have PCOS but with Follistim we've been able to get me where we need to be no problem.  DH has a varacocile vein that is causing problems...RE said due to DH low counts postwash (average of 1.2 MM), our best bet is IVF with ICSI.  Crazy part is that we concieved two years ago with IUI and 16 mm post wash.  Ugh..

A few days ago I found out my thyroid is low....ugh!! My husband also had low serm count 1.1. million post wash but 91percent mobility. I am praying one of his little guys can make it! Hello ladies,
I just thought I'd check in. So far my cycle has been going well I went to the RE today and have two follies one at 14 and one at 15. This is really good for us considering the last few months of bad news after bad news. I am taking 150ui of follistim the next two days and go back Wed to RE to check my follicle size. I am hopeful they will be large enough to trigger. The amazing thing is that one the way to the RE i prayed for alteast two follies and God answered my prayers. So please everyone hang in there God knows what He is doing and will  bless us all very soon.

I am currently 11 days post IUI...and feeling kinda weird. I have been taking synthroid since April 1st for a low thyroid. I am glad you are doing great. Good luck with your IUI's. As for me I am back on the treament again after my two connsective miscarriages . I am 10 days past IUI . I produced four large foliciles, 38, 26,25 and 22 on my cycle day 12 that RE had to give me a triger shot because I was in so much pain. So far I don't have symptons. I am praying and hoping that when ever I get BFP it goes all the way till 9 months.

Finally I am back in the tww. It's kinda of bitter sweet to say that because I don't want to get my hopes up but I definately feel a blessing is soon coming our way. I am now 4dpiui. I produced two good follicles on at 20 and the other at 21. I triggered on Wed and went to the re on thurs for iui. My dh sperm count was great. So far I have been cramping,my boobs are hurting, and some back pain. Hopefully this means my little peanut(s) is growing. I go next Thurs for bloodwork so I pray AF stays away.

Good luck to all in the tww and for to those mommys that already got their BFP. I pray we will all be there soon.

I need your help. I had a horrible day at work. Aparantly I have bad attitude becuase I come in to work I may or may not talk and go home. I do have PCOS and sometimes have moodswings. So if I am quite that should be ok right???? Well I need some help is PCOS a disablity or what can I do to prove that this condition does cause mood swings so that my employer will back off.

Any help would be great.

I am currently 8 days past iui. Very tired,crampy, still achy boobes, and moody. All the stress at work is definatly not helping me.

Spa day sounds great...My mom took me shopping today so that helped with my streses and frustrations I am now 9days past iui and all my symptoms are the same except I am now SUPER emotional. It's like I can't freakin stop crying and I am having trouble going number 2 I know TMI. The next 5days are going to be so hard as I pray AF stays away.

Addis welcome and Good luck to you. I did have success in 06 with Clomid and Ovidril on our second cycle. Be careful though with using so much Clomid it is known to thin your lining. Good luck and keep us posted!

hey ladies..i hope yal dont mind me joining yall...well dh and i have been ttc for  2 1/2 yrs now..i was on clomid from march08-october08 started at 50mg up to 150mg for 7 rounds..had an hsg on 9/24/08 everything was clear..same day dh had sa nd it was good..on 11/28/08 had lap.surgery and dr found endo and several adhesions...went from dec to mar with no meds and in late march was reffered to an RE(YAII!!)  re put me on femara 50mg cd 3-7 cd9 150iuGonalF on cd 13 150iu-cd 14&15 75iu gonal f...WAS scheduled to take ovidrel on cd19at 1:30am and iu at 1:30 p.m. BUT...lh surge came out positive on cd 18-19  so nurse told me NOT to take it since my body was doing it alone..nd come in...so drove down there and had my 1st IUI on cd19 at 10:15a.m....nd now i am 4dpiui....ive been taking prometrium 3x a Day for 3 wks until (+) or (-)...well soorry i bored yall with my story..i just really like to know people myself...well the Only symptoms i have are sore bbs..but not THAT much...well im glad i found you ladies..these forums really help soo much....BABY DUST TO ALL ND GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a while since I posted so I had no luck with my first iui and I took 50mg of clomid and did a trail run with that and my prog level went to a 9.4 so it helped so today af came and I'm going in on sunday for and ultrasound to make sure no cycst and then I'll start on clomid 100 mgs and then have iui when I o so was just letting u ladys in on my waiting game. It's kind of funny I had three pregnancys on my own and everybody was saying how I'm fertile mertile and now its like it ran out :)well I'll let u all know what happens thanks

Glad to now you are okay in the long wait...keep us posted...I broke my foot Jan 6 th and after that had lots of pain still went to doc and my nerves had got trapped under the bone so I had to have nerve and tendon stretching done and yes it hurts as bad as it sounds...22 stitches...but doing better now. Still cant walk on it until next visit to doc which is May 5th!

first time here.... it's so comforting to hear stories of people going through similar situations as me.  All my friends have been announcing pregnancies and boasting about how they thought it'd take months, but it happened on their first try.  In their defense, they don't know that my DH and I have been trying for 8 months.

DH has low morphology, but concentration and motility are specatular.  I'm all good on my end.  Just had my second Clomid-IUI cycle (IUI was this morning).  I'm hating the hot flashes and acne I get with Clomid and just don't want to do this again another month.  Really hoping it works this time!!  Fingers crossed :)

Ok ladies I REALLY NEED A GROUP PRAYER!!! Went to my re's office yesterday because af had not started (no bfp) don't want to excite you guys I am cd 31 and af is due today but I was having no signs and he wanted to try and do a few test to see why they are going 30, 44, 51 days apart....anyway we discussed IVF and I told him I wish we could afford to go there...and listen up...he told me that he is going to speak with his fellows and colleagues and see can they do a 1 time either 75% discount (which is still alot because my dh is laid off) but better yet he said he is going to explain my story, let them know that I am an employee there, that we did have a son in 07 that was born premature and passed 26 days later...and he may possibly be able to do it for free...we will just pay for meds and my insurance covers half!!! I don't want to get too excited but I pray to God that we at least have the chance at ivf....
Please ladies pray for us...by the way because of yje broken foot I have gained some weight and because of pcos he said this can throw my cycles off....wow....So again I am cd 31 no signs of af so last month was 44 days who knows how long in between this one will go!

I had an IUI about 2 cycles ago that was unsuccessful. At that time I started talking with some of the wonderful ladies in this thread. I kept my chin up and kept trying. The next cycle I switched from clomid to Femara and tried timed intercourse, but my cycle was thrown off and out of wack from the IUI and only lasted 19 days. the next cycle started on April 1st. I went to the RE with my DH and we put the game plan together...femara CD3-7, FSH shot, and then trigger shot. I started thinking about when I whould take my next test... thought it would be at end of april. about that time I was in deep thought riding in the truck with my DH, stopped at a stop light I looked up at a digital billboard. I am a christian lady, but I never believed in signs until now. Starring at the different ad flashing across the billboard suddenly I saw something amazing. It was ad but all that was there was the numbers 4.28 and a picture of a storck with a bag in its mouth. No company name ....what so ever. I looked at my DH and he starred straight ahead not seeing this crazy thing. It was like a moment out of Field of Dreams and I wondered if I had just imagined it.

Anyway I could not stop thinking about it and I used it to give me faith that God wanted me to be pregnant as much or more than I did. My next appt was on the 10th of April. On the way to the RE (alone this time) I saw the ad again on a regular billboard. I knew now it was for some business that something was coming or happening on April 28th, but still no company name. That Dr. visit was awesome. We saw on the sono that I had two perfect follies one in the right ovary and one in the left. I felt better leaving the Dr. and more positive thatn ever before. While sitting in the RE office I picked up one of the wheels that tell you your due date. This one had a mark for "firts missed period". Guess what it was pointing to??? Yep..April 28. Chills ran down my spine and I knew that this was God telling me to not stress this time. He was going to take care of it. On the way home when I passed the billboard...I took a picture of it. I have attached it in my profile...please take a look. That weekend I took my trigger shot and me and DH were together.

I am pregnant and not with just one baby, but two. We did an early sono yesterday and both of the eggs took. It is still very early, but RE says at this point 50% chance of twins. Friday the 15th we have 2nd sono. If two strong heart beats then 80% chance of twins. If both heartbeats stay strong till wk 10 then 97% chance of twins. By the way, I went in for a beta on the 27th and was suppose to find out the results on the 28th. My nurse called me that night becasue she just could not wait....close enough right?

I am telling everyone this story because I feel like it should be told. God really did have a hand in this. I am a natural worrier and I think that has alot to do with some of us being , because we put ourselves under so much pressure. I used to get pissed when people would tell me to relax and ask them "how"? My suggestion is that you look for the hand of God and when you really feel it at work then it will boost your confidence and give you the results you want.

All:Good Morning ladies cd37 and my re finally is going to do my progestrone level today to see if its still high and is that the reason af is not here...I have been hot flasing like crazy so I know something is going on just the timing is waaayyyy off...got up this am and my temp was 98.1...yesterday 97.2 and day before 97.1 so I am not sure what the deal is...I have no signs of bfp or af I know I have went almost to 50 days before so I will keep you guys posted...I won't get the results until tomorrow afternoon. I went for a IUI on May 4TH, my RE wanted me to come in this past Monday for  projesterone level Just to make sure i did ovulate that result came back greater than 20. I've been feeling sick to my stomach, hopefully its because this is the one. will be able to test this Monday the 18th. wish me luck.

I took a test it was BFN. My RE won't do anymore iui said that normally after 3 is done the chase is pretty slim. wants to move on ivf, not sure if I want to do that just yet. I will go see another RE that my friend used she swears by him. I  have insurance that covers this , It covers 90% of ivf if I have to go that route.

We were going to try IVF but dh is laid off because of this auto industry crash and he has NO insurance and mines covers 0%...so things are hard..this is iui number 7 for us so we pray that lucky  7 is the answer...Good Luck

Hi..I'm new to this ..but not new onTTC..it's been a very long journey!
I am 5 days past my third IUI.. two days before my trigger shot I had a follie measuring at 19 on my left side and two 15's on my right.
Hoping and praying that this is the cycle that is going to give us our BFP!!

Hello ladies I go in on tomorrow morning for more bw/ and u./s to see whats going on three days ago I had two 11's and some small ones floating in there...I am cd 12 but I o late so we won't be doing another iui until my follies are at least 20 this time. I am also preparing for my IUI. By the way its my 7th IUI but this time I took 150mg of clomid from CD 3-7 instead of 100mg. This cycle is different for me becuase I started having brown discharge after the 7th day of my cycle. My cycle usually last 5 days. I am on 10th day but still having brown discharge and passing tissues. I have an ultrasound on Sunday. I am just wondering if any one of you experience this with clomid.

All: re's office called and I have a 17 and 16 right now we are to continue Gonal F 187.5 and 75 Menopur tonite and tomorrow bk on Sunday Morning for b/w and u/s from what they think trigger Monday and IUI will be Tuesday (which is CD 17 for me since I'm running so late) morning. I will continue to use the opk's over the weekend as I am having small temp changes so I can stay "on top of things"...lol... If anything changes after Sunday I will keep you guys posted! As far as the meds we did have success in 06 with 100mg clomid and ocidril injection on our 2nd try...we tried the same combo when we decided to try again and it didn;t work we moved on to Femara and Ovidril nothing....now on to injectables for the last 5 iui's and still nothing...so who knows what the magic trick is but we are in in to win it! I will have a answer on the IVF fees by end of June but re's office wants us to keep trying until then!

It looks like this cycle is unusual for me. I did ovulation test today and it came positive on the 10th day. I called my Dr office to find out if this is normal. Well they want me to come for an ultrasound tomorrow to see if I am ovulating and they will go from there. I did not have any symptons with taking 150mg not even even hot flashes. I usually repond very well to 100mg of clomid but this cycle we decided to go with something new by taking 150mg but it seems like I should have stick to my regular dosage. This is my 7th IUI . I got 3 BFP but all ended in misscariages.

I am new to this forum... Used Clomid & injectables, Back to Back IUI's on 5/9 & 5/10 - today is cd26. Had a little spotting on cd 24... nothing since then... hoping it was implantation bleeding and not AF making an early appearance.

If this IUI is not a sucess, RE recommends doing 1 more IUI before moving onto IVF. IUI #3 would be with injectables (Follistem) only.

Anyone looked into or used the "Attain IVF Program"?
Curious about the cost - it is a 3 cycle program with a discounted price that guarantees if you don't bring home a baby they refund 70% of your money.

Hello ladies,
Just found this forum tonight.  I have been TTC since 2004.  We have gone through it all.  We are on Gonal F and Lupron right now.  225 iu's.  Last cycle he started me at 112 then eventually got up to 225iu's but that created havoc.  I had 8 follies ready to go and my E2 levels were throught the roof.  24,000 I beleive.  So of course that cycle had to be cancelled as I was at a very high risk of OHSS.  

So we moved on and we took it slowly but surely this cycle.  We started at 150 then went up to 187 but now we are at 225. I take my last dose tomorrow of gonal f tomorrow and then I am triggering tomorrow nite then I do IUI on Monday.  Then I am on a whole wack of meds for a couple of weeks.  Metformin,folic acid,prometrium,and crinone.  I have 2 follies one on each side measuring about 17.5 as of this morning.  But they should be up to about 18 or 19 after tomorrow morning's last GF dose.  ~Babydust~ to the ladies who are still trying.  ~Sticky Dust~ to the ladies who are preggers.

I feel like am ovulating if i use the sticks i know they will say positive i think i will just wait for my test tomorrow God willing and i feel the same way with clomid 150mg just a little hot flashes just a little bit moody not as bad as clomid 50mg made me feel i asked my doctor about injections she said no need will see what happens i will keep you guys informed. LADIES PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS...Ok went to re's office today and I have a 21 on the right (tube there) and a 18, 10 on the left (no tube there...hope they go away)My E2 is 620 I trigger tonite at 9pm and IUI is scheduled for Tuesday at 9am is that too much time in between the Ovidril and iui??? We only plan to try this two more times and I don't want to waste the chance because they are closed on the holiday! Also I did Blearblue opk this morning and it is negative. I am CD 15 but you all know my cycles run 30-44 days will the Ovidril take over the natural instint for me to o and make me o before I get a positive on the opk? I am just trying to cover my bases and praying lucky #7 is the one!

What I heard is you ovulate with in 24 to 48 hours after shot and after the egg lives for 12 and wash sperms live for 24 hours. So I am saying don't worry you are ok timewise.

As far as I am concerned.  I dedected a serge on CD 10 so went to see my RE and did my IUI yesterday on CD 11 after my ultra sound showed 2 foliciles on right  side size 30 and 28. I am still not sure why I ovulated so quickly when my cycle run 27 days and more. Hope this cycle works for me.

I think i handled this disappointment way better that the first failed IUI.
Could have staked my life on being preg. the first go around, which completely crushed me. Though still positive, I had no expectations this past try.

It's going to happen for all of us, it's just a matter of when.

So time for some R&R with my hubby and a little vacation. Going to wait until Aug to do our final IUI.

yes, the trigger shot will give you positive opk. once I did the same thing and my doctor laughed at me and said thats the point of the shot to make you ovulate. you will definatley get positive after shot.

Yes my IUI was this morning at 11 am. We can be cycle buddies.. Was yours today. I have some cramping and my ovaries feel like there gonna blow. lol They did my IUI 24 hrs after my trigger. I asked the Dr does it make a difference he said no. I was like really. I told him ill do the 24 hr one as i did the 36 hr one and got a negative so what the hay. I had 3 eggs my left had one size 18 and my right had two 18 and 17. The nurse said i great cm good timing. Wow you had 7 iui were they with injections or not. well i wish you lots of baby dust.

How many people have experienced multiple follicles on both sides? If so, did they cancel your IUI and how many is too many?

Also, how many people had two IUI's per cycle? Do you believe it increases your success rate?

My RE likes to see at least three. I had a 18 on my left and and a 18 and a 17 on my right. I'm not sure how many is to many I'm sure if I was above 4 they would have canceled me. And for back to back IUI's my Dr wont do it . They just don't think it helps.
this is my Second iui with injectables. And I had 3 eggs last time as well with the same measurement Except last time I had a IUI at 36 hrs and this time I asked being that I had a tubal reversal done and my tubes are not 10cm. One is 7.5 and one is 5.5 He said lets try 24 hrs this time so we will see.

ALL: I have a ? yesterday I had mild cramping for about 30 minutes and then nothing that was 3dpiui...now my temp 2 days ago was 97.8... yesterday 97.7... and this morning 97.4???? I am only CD 21 and I ususally run 30-44 days between cycles...  I don't know what to make of it? Any thoughts? Whats scary to me is usually I get chills and very cold days before af starts and today I am cold nose and feet....JESUS help me!please.........

I am new to the board but I wanted to share that I had my IUI on the morning of the 24th after my trigger on Fri before.  So I am still in my 2ww but I guess a few people on here are in the same boat.  This was my first IUI so I am hoping it works!  I used clomid, estrogen, trigger and now progesterone for this cycle and I feel worn out from all the drugs.  
Today my symptoms are tiny twinges in my uterus so I hope its a bean!  The progesterone makes you feel pregnant even when you are not so I am really hoping these feelings are not drug induced.

Anything over 10 is good. Don't stress yourself. My doctor never did a progesterone test for me after my IUI. I am on 10dpiui. I am having little twinges in my uterus. Still have some brown discharge which started CD8 and is on and off  and my nipples are sore. I have not taken trigger shot or am not on progesterone so this cycle is very upredictable for me.

Gatorgirl: we have the same IUI date. When are you planning to test at home?

I have been very twingy in my uterus both today and yesterday but again...could be the prometrium.  No discharge but I do feel very nauseas today...could be b/c I ate a bag of chips instead of my salad that is sitting right in front of me though...
the first time I was pregnant (got pg on the first try too) I had no symptoms except cravings (jalepenos) and aversions (my daily lunch salad was switched to pizza) and a stuffy nose.  so I am looking for those since I did NOT have them last month with the prometrium.

well for me the first time I had worse symptoms than I do now with the prometrium.  Cramps, bloat, gas, major gas pains (had to leave a dinner with friends almost doubled over), fatigue, irritablity, & constipation.  I was convinced I was pregnant!  My RE said that that is normal and unfortunate b/c everyone thinks they are and they might not be.  This time it isn't half as bad and I am not sure if its b/c I am taking my pills right before bed (I did this most of the time but sometimes a bit earlier) or b/c my body is more used to it.  I still have all of those symptoms but the irritablity and gas pains are much less.  If you can do one right before bed I would do that b/c it lessens your side effects.

How have you been doing. we had our iui the same day. Any signs or symptoms. 7dpiui and 8dpt. Last Monday when I triggered I was so nauseated for 4days. Weds I woke up in the middle of the night going OMG!  I must of ovulated that night and Thurs morning i woke up so blown up i thought i was 4mths prego.( alien)  My stomach was so extended and it still is. My chest is on fire. very exhausted. I went to the Dr last Friday to make sure i didn't over stimulate Dr comes in feels my stomach and says this could be a good sign i laughed and was like what blowing up. He laughed so hard..I had a sono and they said my ovaries are huge..

The other thing is I've been on prometrium since the 3rd day after iui. Twice a day. Why are they starting so late with progesterone for you..

So they said to start the prometrium...I dont feel anything at this point even my bbs are not sore from the trigger so I really feel that this cycle is a bust ! :(

Faith: You progesterone will tell if you o'd they like to see 10 on a normal cycle 15 on a medicated...you know I am going through this right now 20 is great anything over 10 though can sustain a pregnancy but they will put you on supplements..it has something to do with making the lining viable to support the baby....did they give you a date to check yours? My re does 1 week after procedure...let me know tt later as I am off to class

All: temp jumped to 98.2 this morning (Check out my o chart) I am still totally symptomless at 9dpiui but who know anything can happen in 5 days...we will see Have a blessed dat ladies!

Well, I tested this morning at 12dpiui and BFN. I had severe twinges/pain in my uterus yesterday felt like something is going to come out. I could not even put pressure on my uterus. I am not sure what will I try next.

it is probably still too early to test.  i would just retest tomorrow or sat morning to be sure.  In my first pregnancy I tested 5 days before with the First Response and it was Neg but then I waited  3 more days later (b/c I couldn't get the morning p since I was outta town) and it was BFP!  So don't give up hope yet.
I am having tons of hunger/cravings but I am not sure if they are real or if I am just making them up and then going with it..ahahaa!  But I will test tomorrow morn and if its Neg then I will test again Sat and so on until Tues. since thats the day my RE told me to test. (2 days after 2 wks piui)

Thanks for the encouragment. I will definately test on saturday to be sure 100%. I don't feel like AF is coming. But i was so concerned about the pain in uterus yesterday and today i don't feel twinges at all. Also I did remember using rest room early morning around 4am and then I tested at 8.00am. my nipples are little sore besides that no other symptons. I tested early because all my pregnancies (3) resulted in early misscarriages due to low HCG. So i was praying may be I will get some hcg on 12th day and relax a little bit.

Hope: I agree when I got my bfp I took a hpt the day before I was due for beta and it was neg got my b/w done the following morning and it was 560! May be too soon

i tested this morn and it was Neg.  But I am not discouraged just yet...I have been cramping a lot more this morning and last night and I had a tiny tinge of pink when I wiped soooo....not sure.  I have also been ravenous!!  I will test again tomorrow morn... wish me luck!

I am wishing you the best, I am on second round of injections. I had IUI on Sunday and am do to have blood test on 6/9/09 to see if I ovulated and a pregancy test. I didn't ovulate for some reason last month but the Dr assured me that is very rare. One thing though is that I woke up really moody this morning so I don't know what that is about.

just got back from lunch and was cramping up pretty bad. Came home and had more brown in my underwear and pink when I wiped.  With the prometrium I shouldn't be getting my period so I don't know what to think.  
Also, forgot to tell this, but yesterday I ordered my fav meal from my fav restaurant and it didn't taste that good. I was almost forcing myself to eat it b/c I thought it would taste good at some point...my friend was like "maybe your pregnant?"  I laughed b/c that didn't even occur to me for some reason.

no, this is either my 8th or 9th IUI. the first one I had was just a trial run with no meds. I had 6 IUI's with clomid and no go. the clomid seemed to produce follicles but no luck. I had Gonal F last month, low dose to make sure not to overstimulate ovaries. I had one good follice at 21 and I did HCG at home but for some reason I didn't ovulate when they checked my progesterone a week later. My Dr upped my dose this month of Gonal F but I still only had one good follicle at 18 and a couple smaller ones. they did hcg in office on Friday at 4:00pm and had IUI on Sunday @ 9:30AM but I am really Moody today, only 5 days Post IUI. I have cried a couple times today. I don't know if it is PMS or what. I am only 2 weeks past that time but I think it is too early for pregnancy symptoms.

well just as a thought...I am out of the race once again at cd 27 and 10dpiui AF started I thought maybe this afternoon i was spotting dark I got excited thinking it may be implantation but over the last 5 hours or so she has started full blast (tmi) I figured from that progestrone level and me having chills on and off I knew she was on her way. I think Im going to take a break not sure yet I left a message at re's office (the phone lines are down the weekened...unless you have an appt) so they will calll Monday and I will go in on Tuesday to see what they think... Thanks for all the hopes and prayers I know one day somehow we will get there...

   Wow I had the same problem last month, went to the DR and they found a polyp. My re wants to check again in July and see if we have another polyp, if we do we will have them remove.  I would need to be free of all to start IVF in August.

bad news...AF started heavy today.  I tested just to check and it was BFN, of course.  I called my re b/c I am so confused as how it started with me being on the prometrium and I was so upset and he told me to stop the prometrium and come in tomorrow morn to start over and see what we will do from here.  I feel so depressed!
I have been putting it off but I am thinking of doing the hystero-something that puts dye in your tubes to see if they are open.  That has got to be the issue.  Has anyone ever done that?  What should I expect?  Aside from that I am, and so is dh almost ready to quit.  Maybe its just not in the cards for us.

I also got BFN this morning I am 14dpiui. Don't feel like AF coming. I had a weird cycle this month I was kind of bleeding off and on till CD 12 even when I ovulated.  Waiting for AF to show up so we can start new cycle.

Gatorgirl: I have done that procedure. Its kind of similar to doing iui but a little more  severe twinges. you don't need to worry. you will be done in 10 minutes and the doctor can tell you right away what he finds.

Bfromthed: Sorry for the AF but don't lose hope till you hear from your RE. 10DPIUI is kind of early for AF to show up.

Went to the RE today and I am about to start the whole Clomid (upped my dosage from last month), estrogen again.  Doing my HSG on Wednesday.  I will feel better knowing if something is going on in that area so I am glad I scheduled it.  Who knows maybe this one is "the one".  Gotta keep thinking positive!

gatorgirl247: I had the test on my tubes done before 1st iui and it is a little uncomfortable and you will experience some cramping and a little bleeding for about a day. I am suprised your dr didn 't do that before to rule it out. I have almose been ready to throw in the towel as well but we can't afford IVF or adoption so I think that is what keeps me going. I would rather exhaust all possibilities with iui then to just give up and wonder what would have happened if I did one more iui.  i go for b/w tuesday to see if i ovulated and if i am pregnant or not. If I get BFN then we will have to wait a couple months so we can save up fertility funds. the gonal is expensive as for most of you know that.

i went and lab work done this morning and I will know in a few hours what the results are. I had some spotting last night at 7:00 pm and a little dab since then. I haven't started a full flow so I am not sure. I was really upset and depressed. I cried for 2 hours this morning. I told my husband since I was crying and he understands but don't understand if you know what I mean. He thinks that the dr is doing something wrong or could be doing something different. I don't know what to think, I trust my dr and I tell husband that he is not God and maybe it isn't in the cards for us. I don't want to think that b/c I want this more then anything. Maybe I am having implantation bleeding but everyone that i talk to who has kids say they never had the implantation bleeding so i don't know how common it is or what. any thoughts out there? if i am starting my period I am a 8 days early. I used to always be every 28 days so i don't know if there is an underlying problem or what. If I am not preggers then i will go and have conference with my dr and weigh my options and see what he thinks. I do have to take a couple months off to save up for additional treatments. I will keep you posted when I find out my lab results. this has been really the hardest month for me emotionally since we started this process. any words of encouragement would help. It is really hard for me to even see parents with their babies or to even talk to 3 yr old grand-niece on the phone b/c I miss her and want to experience a child. Hope I didn't bore all of you.

I completelty understand what you are going through but there is always hope. Please don't be discouraged. Hopefully you will get good news soon. May be its implantation bleeding. Every women symptons are different. I am praying that you get a good news soon.I am on this treatment for almost 2 years. I conceived three times and lost all of them. I always cry when I pass my Due date. I have friend who conceived the same time that I did and now they are planning how to celebrate their first birthdays. I know its very painfull but I am hopeful. So you are not alone. Be positive.

Well I got bad news yesterday. I got full AF and the Dr's office called me to confirm I am not pregant and worse yet is that I didn't ovulate either and this was taking HCG for ovulation, same thing happened last month and dr assured me that it shouldn't happen again. I was so upset that I cried most of the day. My husband and I have an appt with Dr for consultation on June 22 to see what is going on. This really scares me that we are at the end of what can be done for me. I am really scared and upset. I have done research on HCG and I can't find a reason for why the hcg won't trigger ovulation. these treatments are so expensive and they never checked for ovulation till I started injectibles. I would recommend everyone to ask to be checked for ovulation after unsuccessful treatments. there has to be an underlying issue for why hcg trigger is not setting off ovulation. has anyone else ever experienced this and if so what was done to correct this? My husband was really upset b/c we have invested so much money and emotion into this. I mentioned before that i was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago but my fertility dr thinks i was misdiagnosed because I don't have any systems but I wonder if that is why I am not ovulating but then I thought HCG is suppose to correct that. I am so confused and discouraged. this has been probably the hardest month I have had since I started this journey.

thanks hope2009 for the encouragement, it is very hard. there is a girl at work who is constantly talking about her kids and sometimes i just want to tell her to shut up b/c it hurts so much. her mom even raised her middle child b/c she can't handle her. that makes me more upset b/c she decided to have the kids and then she doesn't even want them. there are people like us who would do anything for a baby and we have the hardes time but then there are people who just drink the water and are pregnant. something is wrong with this picture. ok i will stop venting I am just so frustrated and angry. this msg board does help a little to know that I am not the only one out there.

I had the something last month ovulation stick was positive blood work said i did  not ovulate that really through me off because i told my doctor that i wanted the shots to trigger ovulation prior to the treatment she said i did not need it because i was getting positive on the ovulation stick.This month another story my folicles was not growing they were only 13.mm or 14 i cant keep up any more any ways i have not got my AF yes my nipples hurt so i think she is on her way.And you hang in there sassy girl did they check your folicles via sono?

We see what i will do next month God willing i was wondering what is the price for the shots?  


I pray one of us will get good news God willing and i need help to use the ovulation tracker on here please.

they didn't do sono day of IUI, i saw an oncall dr that day since it was a Sunday and he doesn't do sono's before IUI, this just really upsets me b/c the hcg is suppose to trigger ovulation and it hasn't with me. I hope Dr has something up his sleeve. I am not sure how much the HCG trigger is. I have always got it through the office and then they just bill me with the rest of the stuff. I did get it last month through a pharmacy b/c office was out. it cost me a $100.00. my follicles seem to be growing with gonal and they even did with clomid so I don't know what it means when I can't get ovulation triggered. I am really scared but maybe it is as simple as a hormonal imbalance that can easily be treated with Medication.

Hi everyone! Reading this blog has made me feel really good about everything.
I had my first IUI 4 days ago (Tuesday), I cannot wait to see if it worked! I took the first day off work to lay down and rest as IUI was early in the morning. Otherwise I took this week easy, but tonight I have ball hockey and am playing because after a year and a half of trying you learn that life can't stop.
We pray and know that when it's our time to be parents it will happen.

I have been reading this thread and getting hope from it. I am 14dpiui and going for my beta test tomorrow. I am scared to hear the results. I have had a 2ww from the unknown. I keep reading this thread because I was having symptoms and then think maybe someone else had them too.

I have been having some nausea, back aches, cramping, pulling sensation in my lower stomach. But I have yet to have soreness in my breast. I can say i sure either way becasue of the synptoms. All i know is this was my first iui and i want so badly for it to work. I know the all of us do. please pray for me.

Hi im new to the community, i've been reading everyones notes. wow its alot to take in but very useful info. i have been through a round of test as it was my first try with iui. i had a hsg about 2wks ago then started femera cd 3-7 2.5 mg and ovidrel last wed they did u/s and follicles were 24cm on both, the sperm ct was great 19mm and did iui and fri 6/12 so im on the 2ww. its so long and sometimes the road gets hard but i do hope that you guys can give me info to see if every thing sounds ok with test and send some prayers my way as i will everyone elses. by the way i have stage 1-2 endo and both tubes are open and clear and b/w has been normal so far.. baby dust to all. thanks Kelli

I have not written for couple of days am away on vacation in myrtle Beach South Carolina it is nice I have not got my periods yet i tested last Thursday there was nothing lol i have been having problems with my periods since i moved to Dallas to my DH so i have been taking povera to induce my periods. I don't want to test so i can get disappointed again.

so i don't know i hope i ovulated late i pray but if now ohh well what can i do. IT IS GODS will but i might test tonight or tomorrow and you guys will be the first to know. By the way my last periods was may 14th i have not sign of pregnancy. Wish me luck.

I just read through all the posts and feel like I know all of you. I've been looking to read success stories from IUI, as I prepare for my first IUI on (most likely) Sunday, June 21st...which also happens to be "Father's Day"! I'm so nervous, excited, scared, hopeful...etc... you all know what I'm feeling... DH and I have been TTC for nearly 3 years. I used Chlomid on and off for 2 years, and finally said "ENOUGH"!!! Chlomid makes me turn into someone I don't even recognize! So, now I've been doing Repro. injections and will finally do the IUI, a day before my DH must leave on another TDY with his squadron. So, I'll be in my 2WW alone. I just need a place I can vent or share info. since it's so difficult to find an understanding ear. The majority of my friends have children or are currently pregnant. It seems that all they need to to is say the word "baby" and Poof! They got one! And they all have the remedy to get me prego. The funniest suggestion was to 'buy a boat' because as soon as we invest in something big and spontaneous, we'll get preg.  then, the worst advice was that "if your heart was truly in the right place, it will happen..." I left the room before I cried (I was also on Chlomid at the time and didn't think I should start a fight.) All in all, as all of you already know, this is so frusterating! I never thought I'd be doing all of this! I spent 13 years on B/C trying NOT to get prego...It seems so cruel!

Good evening ladies... Im at the tail end of my tww and I test on Friday morning.  I had hcg trigger on June 4th and IUI on June 5th.  Progesterone test came back ok one week post iui, but was still advised to take progesterone suppositories.  I have been feeling slight nausea in the morning and twinges... and cramps, but with the symptoms mimicking progesterone symptoms... I dont trust it...im just hopeful.  this is my third iui...my second using medications.  

enough about me... i just wanted to send positive vibes and baby dust to everyone... its nice to know that youre not alone in the struggle to conceive.

Well I havent posted in months, I have basically been taking a much needed break from all of the RE "stuff" since January, so heres the story to all the new faces...
TTC since 2003, Right tube is completely "coiled" from a ruptured appendix, started getting fertility test 2 years ago, 1st re coulndt find anything wrong, so sent me to a clinic downtown, went there for almost a year, they bascially only found the  coiled tube tried IUI's, they would only do the IUI if the follicles were on the "good" tube not the Coiled, Iui 8/2008, then sept,oct,nov unable follicles on the coiled tube (higher risk of tubal) then Finally end of Dec follicles were finally on the "good" side, I took it as a good sign that it was going to be my new years surprise.....then BFN!! So called RE end of Jan the nurse called (not the DR) to tell me that they would no longer try anymore IUI, that next step would be IVF, but they would not do  IVF on me due to BMI to high.....left a real sour taste in mouth so to say that the RE himself couldnt call that the nurse did....so needless to say DEPRESSION set in and it was then time to take a step back, take a break,  "refresh" my Marriage (by not being pumped full of meds) ( I call Clomid, Clo-Mood), and thats where we are now.......
Friday I am seeing a new RE at a differant clinic, a little nervous, hoping that they dont tell me that the only option is IVF b/c I cant really afford (insurance does not pay and has not paid for anything) I know from talking to the new office on the phone, BMI is not the only factor in IVF, they do IVF on those that have a higher BMI, as long as health is not a problem which I am that fat girl out there that is healthy (other than weight) so we will see :).........I need alot of prayers on my side, for once I really am hoping that things go my way.

HI, I am in the same boat. I have had roughly 9 IUI's and 5 of them were on clomid, the last 2 on Gonal F Injections. We can't afford IVF as insurance doesn't pay for it and I am paying for all the current fertility treatments out of pocket. I don't have a problem with tubes or anything. I have 3 fibroids but according to dr they are not in the way and aren't causing problems. I will pray for you and send baby dust your way. I am going to be 36 this year and I thought I would have kids by now. I also have a high BMI but the dr doesn't think that is an issue either.

Hello, I am new to this forum.  I have had 2 IUI's and I am currently on my 2WW.  It is the hardest thing to do but I am trying to stay positive.  My first IUI was a natural cycle and I did not get pregnant.  The second time around I was put on Clomid 50 mg on CD5-9.  When I went for my ultrasound on CD12, I had a total of 8 follicles but there were about 4 that were size 14 or greater.  My Dr decided that I should trigger that evening so I did.  I went back for my 2nd IUI on CD14.  I started Prometrium vaginally twice a day on CD17 and am continuing to do that now.  I have had extreme bloating and back pain and am wondering if this is all because I am taking the progesterone medication.  My boobies are just now feeling sore and I am 8dpiui.  I don't want to get my hopes up because I had a hard time the first time around.  What are the chances that what I am feeling is all related to the progesterone I'm taking.  My blood test is scheduled for the 29th of this month and I am hoping for the best.  It is just hard to stay positive.  How do you all distract yourselves during the 2WW.  Any advice would help.  Thanks for listening and best of luck to all those in the 2WW.

all: I am still on 12 more days of b/c to dissolve the left over foliies from last cycle so nothing much going on on my end....Good luck to the future iui's and IVFs that are in the works...... Keep us posted on you progress!!!

missy: Thank you so much we have to be here for each other...people don't inderstand what we go through on a daily basis when eveyone AROUND US IS PREGNANT OR JUST HAD A BABY ITS A JOYFUL DEPRESSING MOMENT! WE WILL GET THERE YOU HAVE TO SAY IT BELIEVE IT AND CLAIM IT JUST TELL YOURSELF I AM PREGGO AND I AM A MOMMY IT WILL HAPPEN....TODAY IS DEPRESSING FOR MY DH TOO AS ITS FATHER'S DAY AND OUR SON PASSED 2 YEARS AGO IT STILL BOTHERS US ESPECIALLY ON THE HOLIDAYS!
