i'm confused!

If i ovulate on the first of september,and had sex on the 27th of august is there still a chance that i can still get pregnant? is my caculation right? the last day of my period was on 8/17/2007 do i actually ovulate on the first?can you double check for me please?

Well, ovulation, on average occurs about 2wks after the first day of your last period.  When was that?  No one will really be able to tell you when you ovulate based on the info.  You have to know two things to take a guess. 1. The first day of your lmp and 2. The length of your cycle.  With that information I could guess a range of dates but not pinpoint one.  You'll have to temp or use ovulation kits.  Also, sex on the 27th would be 5 days before ovulation and while it is possible, it's not ideal.  The 30th or 31st would have been better.  There is always a chance though because you may not ovulate on the 1st.  How long are your cycles?  I hope my info helped or someone's does.
