irregular periods after hsg test

Hi,
I always have very regular periods.I am 28 yrs of age.I had HSG test 2 months ago and after that i am having very irregular periods.I have not changed anything in my lifestyle or food habits and i have not taken any medications.I think it is due to HSG test.I asked the doctor and she said that it is not possible.Does anybody else have the same experience?
