A had a laparoscopy and it is a very safe procedure during which your ob can unblock your tubes and see what else can be wrong.  It took me about 3-4 days to fully recover.

good luck!

Hey Sorry For the recent results i can fully relate to your pain, I was diagnosed with the same problem but worst mines actually had fluid in them. so my doc recommended having them completely removed and that initial diagnose was three or four years ago and after additional docs recommended the same thing I went ahead and decided to do it since it was my GREATER chance at mommyhood thru IVF because repairing them could lead to etopic preggos.

I Actually have my tubes removed tomorrow and the knife thing scares my socks off but I've prayed and have my friends and family and you ladies support. You are free to ask me any questions you may have for me after I have my surgery done. I'm told the recovery is only a few days that i can be back at work on Monday but taking it easy of course. But it was a hard decision to make, I wish I had other options v/s the knife but I'm paying for my IVF outta pocket and needed to do all my doc recommended for a higher success rate.

GOOD LUCK ON cONCIEVING. You are in My PRAYERS!

don't worry.. laparoscopy is safe... they put you to sleep and you won't feel a thing.. when you wake up.. you will be at the recovery room... I have mine done in 4/17 due to my left tube blocked... doctor went in there and flused it out... I got pregnant a week after the surgery...

you will be in good hand.. put some trust into your doctor...
