i have never had regularRegular insulin cycles unless I'm on birth control but after I had my son they came back normal i got pregnant in 3 weeks! but unfortnally i miscarried in march ok got a d and c on 3-5-08 had a period on 4-11-08 then had a period on 5-6-08 so they are all different it is hard to go off anything so are you saying today probably was the first day i could ovulate? so i should just chill a bit?
I agree with waitn... Your cycle length determines when you ovulate. The first part of your cycle can even vary from month to month, but the second part (after O) stays about the same every cycle...usually about 14 days. The ovulation calendars are not always that accurate, because many of them assume you have a 28-day cycle, with ovulation on day 14, but that's not always the case.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Hopefully you'll be able to get pregnant again soon!
thanks i guess i'll just wait and take more ovulation tests for a few more days that is acueally good news my hubby has been out of town for two days so im glad to know it could still be coming and i didn't miss it!!! thanks i have my fingers crossed!!
You need to be charting your temperature - this can give you the best representation of when you ovulate. When a temp rise occurs, you can be sure you ovulated just before that (the day before or so). Unfortunately, this method can only be used to pinpoint when you have ovulated - by the time you temp rises you are no longer fertile. But it's a great way to find out what CD you usually ovulate on, and to see that you are ovlating.
And you don't get AF EXACTLY 14 days after ovulation, a females lutual phase can vary anywhere between 10 and 16 days (although 10 is pretty short). You need to determine what your own individual lutual phase is.

PS...I ovulated on CD 19, so you have nothing to worry about. I never ovulate exactly 14 days after the first day of my period, it's always a few days after that.
you should get AF exactly 14 days after O....
so for me....my cycle last time was 29 days long which means i O'd on CD15
remember not everybody O's on CD14....its all determined by the length of your cycle

unfortunately all we can do is wait for them to regulate so we can pinpoint our O days
or try an OPK
sorry to hear of your loss....best of luck to you
