Clomid does delay ovulation for quite a few womenWomen's way. I think they say you will usually ovulate between 5 and 9 days after your last pill...but I know some womenWomen's way on here have ovulated later than that on clomid. I bet you'll ovulate within the next few days :-)
There are many women like myself that clomit doesn't help at all. I took 2 cycles of 50mg then 4 cycles of 100mg and ovulated only once. My gyn was only seeing the bt and never did a sono so i don't know exsactly how it go, but with the temp. i ovulated only once and i didn't get pregnant. Then i went to a Re who to be honest i should have gone since the beginning, he put me on a combo of clomit+injectables and i got pregnant 3 times unfortunately m/c all 3. I'm just experiencing my 3 and it is devasteting.
Don't stay on clomit loong cause it has the side effect of thining your lining. Go to specialist if your seeing only a gyn, they have much more info for your condition. Good luck
I just finished my third cycle of clomid (50mg) and actually ovulated a day or two early. During my clomid cycle, though, my dr starting monitoring me daily by ultrasound starting at about day 13 or 14. She was able to monitor how many follicles and when to go home and do "homework" with my husband. Once she determines that I am getting close, I would get an injection of hcg. I would continue to go daily until the viable follicle(s) were released. Every woman is different but there is another woman who is also seeing my same dr who got pregnant after the first cycle. Good luck!
Best of luck!
