dear all,
any one have idea about my situation please help me i married 5years now no kids all my test and my husbend was totaly perfect,then itook clomid more than 6times but not happen the folical that time was perfect also and lot, then we go for IVF first time was only one egg then they decided to make IUI but not happen also, again IVF they got one egg empty bag, my FSH now 14.34 my AHM 0.5 my LH 4.2, now docotr told me be on normal way or IUI she try to do IUI she gife me clomid but no responce then injection menopure no responce also finally she told me your ovary too week hard luck, any one tell what can i do any chance any try. i'm 41 years old now.

I'm sorry for all you've gone through but it sounds like your ovarian reserve is somewhat diminished.  Did they do your FSH on a different cycle?  Sometimes it varies cycle to cycle.  With your other lab values being the numbers that they are though, I'm afraid that the above is probably true.

You have several options:  if you don't want to try to get pregnant w/your own eggs, you could do a donor egg cycle.  I'm not advocating it - simply giving it as an option.  I had the same problem as you - diminished ovarian reserve & 43 at the time.  I ended up getting pg w/donor eggs and it was the best thing I could've done.

You also could adopt embryos that are frozen.  It's kind of like an adoption process.  There are agencies that do it or your own clinic probably has some kind of bank.  

Your other option is adoption - it's such a wonderful thing to give a child a good home.  I wish you the best of luck & you're welcome to pm me if I can answer ahy questions - jen

many thx for your reply i'm still have hope to get it from my own egg we're in a country not allowed to do donor egg and if i wana go out it's too expencive for me please keep in touch with me i need some one from over the world to share my pain no one can understand how much i'm tired from that.

Maya, again I'm sorry that you're going through all of this.  I too had a lot of pain (even anger) when I found out that my eggs probably weren't any good - I felt young, why wouldn't my eggs be youngish too??  Especially when my ovaries on u/s looked good but that's the way it was.  It took about 6 months for me to feel better and accept the situation for what it was.  You will feel better - it just takes time.  For me, it felt like I was stuck in this dark tunnel w/no end in sight.  Eventually enough time passed where I could see the light at the end & the pain got better.

I'm sorry your country won't allow donor egg cycle.  What about adoption?  Is that an option for you?

thx for your help it's really true I feel so young even people met me thought I’m 27 or 29 no one believe that I’m 41, but form your experience what you thing will never happen normal, the dr. told still there is egg remaining my sister conceive in 43 now and born beautiful girl, so what you thing the door closed, I’m also teaching piano and I’m interior designer. The adoption I can't do it cz I don’t have this feeling to take baby not from me, just like that but if it's donor egg better cz it's inside me and i can feel it.
