progesterone levels are high

I am 7 days post a five day blastocysts (embryo) transfer.  This is my first round of IVF.  I went in today to have my progesterone checked.  My levels are 200.  What does this mean?

Are you sure that's your progesterone level and not your HCG level? If it's progesterone that sounds super high. I think my doctor said between 10-15 is where he wants it? If it is your HCG that sounds great. Best of luck to you!

I think it should be at least 15 the higher the better... it get higher as the pg progresses

Thank you for your reply.  Yes, as astonishing as it is, the nurse said that they usually like to see the progesterone levels at 20 and she said that mine were at 200!  I asked her if this was good and she replied "yes."  I have done a lot of research since then and it just seems so high.  I still do not know what to think.

I had IVF transfer on 10/22 and had my levels checked on 10/25. My progesterone level was over 200, but I am also taking 200mg progesterone suppository 2xs day.  They said that my level was great for supporting a pregnancy if my embryo's attached.  I get my bloodwork done on 11/3 to see if the IVF worked.  Thanks.
