progesterone to start AF

Ok, so my question is two fold- I had d&c Jan 12 and have not o'd or had period since. I started taking 10mg progesterone on Monday to hopefully kick my cycle back into gear, I'm to take for 10 days. I have taken before when cycles were like 45-50 days last spring for only 5 days, why 10 days now? is this normal? Also I was taking a few supplements like evening primrose oil and flaxseed oil and acidophilus in addition to prenatal vitamins, are these still okay to take? Just trying to make my body a healthier place =)

before I was ttc, my doctor had me on progesterone for 10 days, for the last 10 days of the cycle. Provera also helps kick start af to start to. I am not sure on they viatmin question tho...??
