really sore breasts after IUI,is that a common symptom

My breast are just so sore i had a iui done on wednesday. I dont have any cramping or feel bloated bot mr breast are just hurting me so much. I just wanted to know if that was common as this is my first iui. Any feedback will be much appreciated thank you x

I also had my first IUI last saturday. The only thing I felt was a little cramp after few hours of the procedure, but nothing else. Sorry not be able to help much.

Hi there-ARe you taking progesterone?  After all of my IUI's my bbs were sore from that.  Hope that helps?

Allie's right, it's probably the progesterone...whether natural or a supplement. After ovulation, the follicle that contained the egg starts producing progesterone, and this can often cause tender breasts.

My BBs would always get sore after ovulation, but in a medicated cycle, they would be even more sore than normal (even though I was not on progesterone supplements), because I had more than one follicle release, and that usually increases your body's progesterone levels as well.

Thanks guys much appreciated. Im not on ang progesterone i guess its still the effects of the trigger shot. Oh well ill just have to wait it out lol!
