I am 38 Years old and I have had 2 opinions on my situation...i have had two IUI/Clomid/Trigger shot, one natual IUI/Trigger shot... after both doctors, from my old RE , and new RE, viewed my records they have told me that I need agressive treatment IVF cycle as soon as possible the bettter, since my FSH is 9...I don't know what to do? who to go with? My husband wants to wait until we have more money...I am scared to wait anyore...I am scared that if I don't do something I will never have a chance having children...I haven't tried injectables with IUI...yet but it seems like both Doctors feel that it is a waste of time....any thoughts? You're forum has helped me so much? I would love to hear your thoughts? if you have been through this? anything...I would truly appricate it....Thanks

I would agree with the two doctors to move onto IVF. Of course if money is an issue right now then that's hard to do. They want you to do it as soon as possible because of your age of course since each year our percentages rise a tad for chromosal abnormalities or whatever. But if you don't have the money now, don't worry too much because that's the reason IVF weeds out the bad eggs and will only use the good ones (I think that's how it works). But how soon do you think you and your DH will have the money?

I've never gone through IUI or IVF but I am considering trying IUI first. I'm 39 with two grown kids so I'm starting over and having a hard time doing that though. So I can relate on that feeling of the ticking clock. Nowadays women are having them later in age so that gives us a few more years to worry.
Good luck and I hope this helped at least a little.
