I need some encouragement or advice, anything..  i went this morning for my cd15 follicle scan after round four of clomid (100mg cd3-9) my largest follicle was only 6mm.  i have recently been diagnosed with pcos and have been on 1500mg of metformin for 9 weeks.  i don't understand why it didn't do anything!  i have horrible mood swings, vision changes, daily diarrhea and nausea, for what? the worst is that i thought i was getting better at "controlling" my emotions, turns out i was just hiding them, everything i do makes me cry, even commercials that are not sad!!!   I don't want two more cycles of clomid!  what's the next step, femara, injections, adoption?  my insurance doesn't cover ivf, i feel so hopeless.

I also did not ovulate while on 100mg of Clomid but I did on 150mg.  Has the doctor mentioned increasing your dose this next cycle?

I did 150mg without metfomrin last cycle, and nothing.

I had nothing on clomit too. I did clomit for 6 rounds at 100mg and i never ovulated. Then i switched to an Re and he put me on a combo of 200mg clomit+injections. Since i to have pcos and doing only injections is risky for ohss he didn't take the chance of only injections. so he softened the cycle a little. And it worked for me cause i got pregnant 3 times but m/c all 3. You should move on cause clomit is not working for you. Next step is injections before you go to ivf. I moved to ivf after the 3 m/c and i have payed everything out of pocket.I don't have any kind of insurance and thanks God my Re has helped me with the injections. I never payed  any of them. Try other ways but don't give up. I never did even though i have payed thousand of dollars but having a baby is my top priority. Good luck

I recommend embryo adoption!  It is a terrific process

thanks to everyone, i did some i looked into attain ivf last night. I'm going to give this one more cycle then i am calling them.

jenny- thank you for sharing, i'm sorry about your m/cs that had to be very devastating.  your such a strong person to keep going.  I didn't realize you could finance ivf that's definitely my next option after injections.

mysty-how do i go about that, do they do it at a ivf clinic? my sister has volunteered to donate eggs, and dh sperm is good. it's just me that isn't working :(.
