will cyst affect fertilty?

Has anyone had experience with ttc with ovarian cyst(s)? Last month an ultrasound showed a 6cm cyst on my right ovary, this month I am having pain on both sides. I am wondering if this cyst is going to delay fertility. I previously had a ruptured ectopic on the left--for which i had my left tube removed so i'm now nervous that the cyst on the right will cause infertilty.

It doesn't always, but it certainly can. I had one linger for a couple of months and I did not o until it ruptured/dissolved. Did they say the one from last month is gone or is it still there and possibly growing? Are they watching them? They usually will resolve themselves. But, occasionally can grow very large and rupture causing severe pain and possible serious complications. I would hope they are monitoring yours knowing it was there last month.
