It doesn't always, but it certainly can. I had one linger for a couple of months and I did not o until it ruptured/dissolved. Did they say the one from last month is gone or is it still there and possibly growing? Are they watching them? They usually will resolve themselves. But, occasionally can grow very large and ruptureAortic rupture, chest x-ray Ruptured eardrum Tracheal/bronchial rupture causing severe pain and possible serious complications. I would hope they are monitoring yours knowing it was there last month.
