would it be benifical to have friends in the areas we live in with our conditions or would it just bring us down more because then we would have more bad energy to deal with?
you know we would worry or try to help out our friend when we know we should rest or will it give us a boost someone as long as they can take care of themself - we can go out together and not worry about not being able to keep up - or will it hold us back and make us more disabled. HHHhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm What do you think?
I have met some wonderful people online. I also have friends that I try to go out to lunch or dinner with at least monthly. Sometimes I feel bad because I don't have the energy to respond to everyone and / or keep in touch with people online... but I do my best. At least I know most of my online friends (who have fibro or CFS) will understand. ; ^ )
I too have met some beautiful people online, but alas, they live far away from me. I do enjoy keeping in touch with them though. The friendship means so much.
My best friend is close by and she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis (severe). She can relate to my medical problems and we both know that going out will mean taking about 3-4 hrs. (like for lunch). We understand that both have to take their time or maybe cancel out due to not feeling well that day. It's wonderful to have that empathy and supportSupport Support 500.
Some states offer Fibro. supportSupport Support 500 groups where they get together a couple of times a month. There may be one near you or you could start one yourself. It would be great to have a room full of others who understand wouldn't it?
