I'm so suffering, please help me. Do I have fibromyalgia?

by Immer, Jul 29, 2009 12:34AM
I have been suffering from a pain that has changed my life completely. I don't know exactly what kind of pain it is. Below is my story.

On February 22, 2008 my heart was beating faster than usual and I felt that I was goint to pass out. I went to ER and the doctor treated me as if I got a heart attack. He did EKG, blood enzyme test, heart USG and found nothing wrong with my heart.

After two nights at hospital I was sent home and the doctor gave me prescription to make me relax and also to reduce my blood thickness. Since then I always became sick and felt cold. My head also felt funny, like I was going to pass out. I've been light headed off and on. I also found out I grind and clench my teeth each night especially when I was feel stress. My neck and my back become pain and stiff. Sometimes I feel sharp pain on upper left side of my chest. When I feel this chest pain, I got light headed and can't think clearly. I also have problems with my stomach.

Out of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. My mind becomes cloudy and I can easily forget something that I have just done. As a web developer I can't do my job well anymore and it really makes me sad.

Dear friend, please give me advice. Do I have fibromyalgia or something else? Is it related to my job as a web developer, in which I should stay all day in front of computer? What should I do to cure myself?

To: Immer,
WELCOME TO MEDHELP FIBRO/CFS FORUM

You can have non-cardiac chest pain with fibromyalgia.  But your sx could be chronic fatige type symptoms as well.  Have they checked any of the 18 pressure points related to fibromyalgia?
