I understand your frustration.. I have had Fibro for over a year and sometimes everything on my body hurts..I have one day that I feel pretty well and try to get a lot done and then spend the next two days in agony.  I mostly have burning and stabbing pain in my feet and legs... and then it travels around to other areas.  Just keep hoping for a miracle..

I am right there with you guys.  My husband will come home and I will have that look on my face.  He will say "What hurts tonight?", very sarcastically, and I will say "Everything!".  He knows then that we are in for a bad night, and the tension builds.  What a draining cycle!  I have been looking into some new drugs that Phizer and another company called Bioscience something or other is working on that are promised to be wonder drugs for Fibromaygia sufferers.  There are also lots of clinical trials to start these medications available across the US and internationally.  Just go to the Fibromyalgia Association website and look up clinical trials.  There is also a link for a government listing if anyone is interested.  You get to try out these medications for free before they are available to the public.  Ofcourse, there is always a risk because they don't yet know the side effects or dangers of these medications on realy patients.  You would essentially be a guinea pig.  I am willing to participate in one of the trials because my Fibro has gotten so severe, but there aren't any in my area at this time.

I have such a hard time at work with the fatigue and muddled brain function.  I have a young healthy partner who does not underdstand the days when I cannot keep up with her.  I cried recently after an physcian visit with the diagnosis of an ear infection.  Everyone can relate to that type of illness.  I recently started Pexeva(ssri) which definitly decreases the depression.  Wellbutrin caused increased body aches.  It is nice to be able to discuss fibro with those who know  the beast well.

I'm glad that this was bumped up. I don't have fibro, but now wonder if I do have fibro (secondary to CFS). This is weird but I swear that my scalp/hair has been burning lately. I told my husband the other night when I was combing my hair. Pretty weird symptom ---- I guess I'll ask my physician to check me for fibro. It is very common to have the two conditions together --- although one is the primary and the other is the secondary.

Try seeing a chiropractor.  It helped me with the same symptoms

Hey I am 20 years old and have been suffering since the age of 12. Recently I have started running and felt the after effects last night, but I have found over the months that strecthing really helps me. Your probable not taking this seriously but when I exercise I work a muscle and then I strecth it, it has worked wonders with me. The exercise is called the Fluidity workout. I just wanted to say something. Hope things can turn around for you.

I was first diagnoised with Chronic Fatigue in 05' but after going to the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue center here in Seattle they also added the Fibromyalgia to my list of issues. You are right it is very common to have them both. Usually one comes with the other in time. Also those of us with CFS have something like Eppstein Barr along with it. Fibromyalgia / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is finally getting the press it needs the media.

Maybe my in-laws will finally believe it's real. LOL
