Have you been diag with Fibro? I'm 30 and I've had everything you described above for a few years.  I've been to the ER twice and I've seen 3 different cardiologist. Everything has been normal with me except minor issues like Mitral Valve Reguritation and mild Rhythm problems. I have no idea what causes it.

Recently I had chest tenderness and felt like I couldn't breathe and I was told it was Costochrondritis which is inflammation in the chest wall. This can cause very similar feeling of a heart attack. When I went for that visit I thought I had bad indegistion or something b/c my chest felt tight, I had pains raditate into my throat, and I felt short winded. So you might read up on Costochondritis and see if it sounds like a possibility.

Just yesterday I had a sharp pain in my upper left chest at the same time I felt like I was going to black out. I grabbed onto my desk and a few seconds later I was okay, other than being a bit shaken. I have these experiences a few times a month. So if you find a different answer please let us know.

I have had all the same symptoms you both describe! I also went to the er because I thought I was having a heart attack too. They did chest xrays, ekg, ct scan, bloodwork and sent me home with a clean bill of health.

Three causes of chest pain that traditional docs are not aware of ; one is allergies, either airborn or food.
the second is the neurotoxin acetaldehyde from yeast overgrowth in the body.
the third is oxalates in the diet which causes all kinds of pains , burnings, twinges. I have had experience with all three and have changed my diet and lifestyle. The low oxalate diet takes time (about 3-4 months for results )but pain is lessened by 50% or more as the days pass.
Costochondritis is a diagnosis given when they don't know what else to tell you. Research these topics for more info. If you have trouble sleeping or getting to sleep cut out the red meat.

Very interesting, about the Oxalates... I'll have to look into that. I've made several changes in my diet since I was diagnosed with CFS/Fibro. And one of those is to avoid red meat whenever possible (sometimes, if I have to eat at someone's home, for work related reasons, etc., and I don't have a menu choice I might have to eat a bit of beef, but I really try to stay away from it).
