Frustrated with Fibro and Pregnancy- Suggestions?

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin. At every appointment, I tell her that my pain is worsening and unbearable but her only suggestions have been more narcotics and warm water exercise. I have even tried safe essential oils, herbs, vitamins and massage. NOTHING IS HELPING and I am barely able to care for my 18 month old, let alone prepare for a newborn. My Neurologist said that I should be able to go on Lamictal to replace the Neurontin by my third trimester as all development has already taken place but my OB won't budge. My Rheumatologist suggested steroids because I have underlying myositis and arthritis but OB rejected that, too. She won't even put me back on Cyclobenzaprine even though its a category B pregnancy risk!!! I can't sleep at all and that only adds to the vicious pain cycle but she refuses to do anything.

I'm frustrated and in the most pain I've ever been in in 10 years!!! I can't switch OBs at this point, I am too close to delivery. I am a nurse and full-time mother but I am taking it as easy as I can...

Does anyone have any suggestions???

Thank you...

I have the same problem, I am 34 weeks right now, and I am delivering at 37 weeks at the latest due to my back pain.. If I go earlier they are not going to stop me at all.  I am only allowed to take percocets, and I try to just bare the pain.  I cant walk, bend over, and I am not sure how I am going to pick up the baby at all... Will they deliver you early?

No...my Doc won't deliver me early. She will induce if I am more than a week late, though. Not much help if you ask me.  I'm getting to the point that I can barely walk, too. I tried Percocet in the past but its as helpful as Vicodin-which is not at all. My OB seems to think I will bounce right back after delivery...yeah right. From this point, its going to take months to recover from this exacerbation.

Good luck on delivery and thanks for your reply!
