16 yearold daughter with severe muscle pain

hi, I have a my 16 year old daughter who has Hidragenitis Supprutiva. She has had that since about 13 years old. We are seeing a dermatologist for her wounds and that doctor is seeking our insurance to cover the medication called Humara.
Now she has  been suffering from muscle pain for the past 4 months. I have been to my prmimary doctor and a Orthopaedic doctor at Shriners' Hospital. They say there is nothing wrong with her bones. The ortho did tell us that is a type of migrating pain.
When this all started she had pain in one ankle, then both ankles. I took her to a podiatrist. she said she had severly flat feet and said her Plantar and tendons were stressed. So I bought her new sneakers and inserts. Within a week she seemed to be getting better. Well within 2 weeks she woke up one morning complaining about her lower right side hurting (around the hip). I pressumed it was a pulled muscle. A couple of days it did not get better. I took her to my primary doctor and also said a pulled muscle and told her do some stretches and take some IBuprofen.
My husband and I  took her to a chiropractor and he said that she had severe muscle spasms and one of her vertebra was slightly turned. She was getting treatments with a activator only. It seemed to help alittle. My insurance only covered 20 visits. Were done with that doctor now.
She was caring a heavy backpack to school but went to a rolling backpack thinking this was the problem.  Now she cannot even go to school. Her pain has been in one hip or the other or both. She knees have hurt, her ankles and the top of her foot. She occasionally has said about being hot at night but I never took her temperature. We are all suffering from a cold here. When she first started having the feet problem I saw on each side of her ankles a rash that developed little white heads on them. Since then she had a couple of more in different areas, even on her forhead. She also developed a swollen lump slightly above her left front ankle on her lower shin, that came to a head a drained.  I was thinking this was from her H.S disease even though she never had this before.   She has had alot of xrays and a MRI. Nothing serious relating to her pain has showed up. She has been put on a steroid twice which has showed improvement but comes right back when shes off. Our primary just recently ordered a full blood work up.  Now we are going to set up a appointment with a Rhuematologist.  It's been a mess for my daughter. I'm trying to stay strong for her while taking care of her.  Does anyone have any clues what this might be? I have saw on here about Still's disease but have not research it. Thanx for any imput.

Hey kellybe13.
Welcome to the forum.
So sorry about your girl's suffering. You must stay strong though,
as she's counting on you for so many things.
If anything positive could be said about this situation, it is the closer
connection between the two of you in this time of her illness.
I don't know much about H.S. but one thing to look out for is localized or
systemic infection. This could be a complication of this condition, as infectious agents-sometimes extremely difficult to detect like Pathogenic Mycoplasmas- take advantage of weaknesses and imbalances to spread and grow. Avoiding inflammation is crucial, so a diet low in sugars, refined carbs, junk food, sodas, fried foods etc would help. Adding extra virgin coconut oil to her diet - replacing cooking oils in cooking- will offer all the benefits associated it like antifungal,anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-parasitic properties. This should help with any possible infections.
Also reducing stress levels is important. Look into EFT -emotional freedom techniques- free manual download for basic application.
For more serious therapy look for an EFT or Energy Medicine practitioner.
Hypnotherapy may be another type of therapy to look into for better management of this -for both of you perhaps.
I have seen many "miracles" in this type of work over the years.
Hope this helps.
Blessings to both!
Niko
