ACHING BURNING LEGS

ACHING BURNING LEGS

Hi, i suffer from extreme leg pains, i am type 2 diabetic, i have severe spinal problems (lower 5 disc's ) i have a serious heart condition and have had three heart attacks, and i'm 52.
Every day in life, all day and for the last 6/8 years i suffer with severe burning feeling, the full length on my leg, and feet, i also get a very numb feeling in my legs, deep seated almost toothache like pain. It is so severe that it make it nearly impossible to walk at times. I feel that my legs cannot carry my weight and infact have collapsed due to the inability to feel my legs, i stumble and fall all the time breaking bones as i go. I am nearing the limit of my ability to deal with this, the pain is so severe, when i lay down the pain goes slightly for a while, and then it comes back, but initially i do get relief. I get around two hours sleep per day (and have done so for around 5 years)
I was overweight, and still am, but have lost over 6 stone in weight trying to help get rid of this but it is now so bad that i have to use a wheel chair to go any distance, and fear that its getting so bad now that i may have to use a chair to go any distance, it is totally ruining my life. Apart from what i need to deal with, by way of my other conditions, this leg thing is the last straw. Can anyone help me please, i beg you....the worst thing is when i fall and hurt myself, on the legs, it takes months to heal if it ever does, cuts can take 3-4 years to heal and the marks never go. Due to diabetis my feet are numb 24/7 anyway, but losing the feeling of my legs makes me fall...PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE

Hey nonnie,
Welcome to the forum.
Well let's give it a try. You sure have enough issues.
Some suggestions:
1. Eliminate or drastically reduce simple carbohydrates, sweets, dairy, fruits, grains, junk food, soft drinks, alcohol, tobacco.
2. Increase the consumption of fresh vegetables (no strarchy vegetables)
salads, filtered or spring water (1H away from meals), and fatty fish with no mercury.
3. Consume with moderation lamb, pastured beef  chicken and eggs
4. Supplement with a high quality multi-vitamin with minerals, malic acid,
omega-3, Co-Q10, Selenium and undenatured organic isolate whey powder
5. Replace all cooking oils with  extra virgin coconut oil.
6. Take 1T of organic raw applecider vinegar before each meal.
7. Take magnesium oil transdermally every other day.
8. Do Pranyana conscious breathing multiple times daily.
9. Do lymphatic massage daily using a long handle body brush.
10 Do moderate physical activity daily, as much as possible, even if it only involves your upper body.
11. Meditate (i dailyf unable to, purchase a CD)
12. Go for Hypnotherapy. Minimum 6 sessions with the best therapist you can afford.

Please research all of the above. Difficult to follow, however, it has the potential to give you back your life! You are still quite young.
Hypnosis will help remove obstacles and install positive programming
in your sub-conscious. It will become much easier to achieve healing!
Blessings

Girl! Get yourself to your Dr! Your Diabetes could be out of control & you can lose your legs!! If it isn't the diabetes it could be your Sciatic nerve, which causes numbness, tingling, deep penetrating aches, knives stabbing you pain & a bunch of other nasty stuff. You should have been sent to a physical therapist by your Dr after being diagnosed with the disk issues both to help you learn proper ways to adjust to life with such a severe issue & to help you learn coping techniques through stretching & exercising properly. You should have also been given info on what to expect with your neuropathy from your disk issues. Then you wouldn't be freaking out right now.

I have Degenerative disks & Joints  so I know all about the myriad of issues a nerve can cause when it is hurt. Nerves connect from your spine to all the other parts of your body. I have nerve that cause breathing issues, digestion problems, cluster migraines, inability to feel extremities, muscle spasms, numbness, tingling and much more. It always depends on the pain of the day. That is, the one or two areas that are the most painful as a body only relates pain info for whatever is the most painful. Everything else gets hidden under TPOTD (the pain of the day). I'm grateful for that!

Changing your diet & lifestyle like Nikodicreta has suggested is also important. All changes help you a little more to regain the control you lost when you were diagnosed. You are in charge of your body & life. So take charge & make it a better one for as long as you have. People with health conditions all feel out of control of their health at one time or another. We get back that control when we figure out that we are the only ones who can make it better & stop wallowing in our collective issues & pain. It took me a few years to get that but once I did I became the old me again only better, stronger and yes still disabled. But being physically disabled doesn't mean one has to act mentally unable to deal with anything. It is our attitude that make the difference & helps us to move on, live our lives & help others.

Good luck

Hope that didn't come off too preachy! Went to my support group this am & it always gets me a little pumped &  my take charge attitude comes out. Good thing to help you boost your moral for the next week! But I have a tendency to get overly enthusiastic after a good moral boost! So sorry if my post was too much. I just wish that all of us who are living with & sometime seriously suffering from a difficult issue could feel that empowerment & use it to better our lives & the lives of those around us. Or if it could be put in pill form that we could take to help us on those days when we just can't get there. If they can do Depression medication they should be able to do it, right?
Darn! Another idea to be shifted into 'The world according to me!' Too bad!
