I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after over 30 years of pain, problems, etc. I have recently started to learn to drive again after a break of about 5 years (my symptoms were much more under control then), but I was unsure of what I should tell the D.V.L.A ? I checked with my g.p. and he said I should probably tell them what I have. I have upon advice downloaded & printed a Neurological Form & I have sent this back to them. I am worried they will stop me driving at certain times or completely ? I have to drive with power steering & I want to drive an Automatic as my left leg has big problems using the clutch (balancing, dipping, & holding etc) it shakes & has bad spasms in it - [even though my husband thinks I can cope], but I like the instructor I have & sadly he doesn't have an Automatic car - so I am a bit torn. Has anyone got any ideas to help with this problem I'd welcome any help. Thanks
